DO NOT go out in the damp…never mind the wet. These tires are dangerous.
They are round (ish) and black, and there ends the similarity to any other tire I have had on any other car.
Please, if you need a cheap tire, get a part worn. These tires are not fit for purpose.

Came with the car, terrible understeer and wet braking. Unfortunately lasted very well and ok in the snow, you get what you pay for.

I drive a Jaguar 2.7 turbo diesel and I can only say , if you value your life and that of your family , never never never drive your car in the rain , even on the slightest bend and at low speed you get the impression that there has been a massive diesel spill on the road or that it has suddenly turned to winter and you are driving on ice . DONT BUY THEM AND IF YOU HAVE THEM , CHANGE THEM .

Horrific in the wet buy at you peril!

Dealer put these on an XF but I just replaced the entire set before they were even 4 months old.

Car slid on modest roundabout cambers at low speeds in the wet, can't understand how it is legal to sell these.

Replaced with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetric 2, not looking back!

What can I say? These tires are aweful, wheel spin in 2nd when coming on boost, massive under steer in the dry and don't even mention water to them as they don't like geting wet and they sit on top and try and slide away. Torque steer galour!! Massive squeal on corners, just poor. Very weak tire walls also - tires always looked flat.
No feel as to when they want to break loose, they just do. Needsless to say they did the snow in the winter, got worn down and removed.

I brought my 2007 Mercedes E280 last year, the garage fitted 4 new autogrip tires Before i took delivery, from day one i had a little vibration they re- balanced them & it was a little better, I found them VERY bad in the wet but
not to bad in the dry, BUT i had a puncture after traveling some 8000 miles, on removing the wheel we found a 15/20 centimeter split on the inside wall, on inspecting the other tires they were ALL the same, outside wall & tread no visual problem, Now with good tires fitted it drives like a new car, you get what you pay for,I could have been killed

Given 13% while driving a Peugeot 207 GT HDi (205/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
Totally and utterly the worst tires I ever had in over 20 years of driving. I have just bought my car and the garage 'generously' put 4 new Autogrip tires on at point of sale. I wish they hadn't bothered as these tires are useless.

I don't drive like a loon but however I do like to get from A to B at reasonable speed. Even at modest speeds in the dry the tires can squeal when turning a corner and cause oversteer far too easily. However this is nothing until you experience wet driving conditions with these tires..

In the wet, if you enjoy the 'driving on ice' feeling, then these are the tires for you. In a corner there is absolutley no grip what so ever, and the ESP traction control light of the car flashes like a Christams tree in an atempt to regain control and try to get you round the corner safely. This happens at low speeds, but the best fun is going up a hill and round a corner at the same time - there is quite simply no grip what so ever. And my car isn't a fire breathing 500 bhp monster, it's only a Pug 207 hdi with a modest 110 bhp. Also a new game you can play in the wet is trying to stop in the when going downhill without the tires losing grip and triggering the ABS - great fun (not)

In summary I am going to get rid of these death trap items and replace them as soon as possible.

Given 74% while driving a Ford Mondeo (235/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
I felt motivated to add my own positive review here, as the AUtogrip F107 is getting a lot of inappropriate negative comments. In this size, they were staggeringly good value for money: each tire £65 fully fitted. The next cheapest at my dealer was Hankook Ventus V12 at £108.

The most striking thing about the Autogrips is that you really have to "break them in" for at least 500 miles, and I think this may be the cause of some of the negative opinions. When new, the steering feel is not so good (less precise than on previous Goodyear Eagle F1s) but after a few hundred miles this improves greatly.

The levels of grip in dry and wet are very good. The only negative is that feedback on wet roads (especially roundabouts) is not as good as with the Goodyears - but only if you are really pushing it. There is most definitely no problem with wheels slipping as you set off - even pulling out of junctions in the wet, with the excellent torque of the 140 bhp 2.0 TDCi Mondeo engine. Similarly, a wet road does not instantly produce a feeling like driving on oil! I feel some reviewers have either not given the tires a chance to settle in. or must drive everywhere like boy racers!

Road noise is low and comfort is particularly good - they are better over potholed roads than the previous Goodyears. Overall, these tires are a fabulous budget choice and do not present any concerns, even in a wide, low profile size like this one. I feel safe with them, they suit the Mondeo and I recommend them to others.
