Given 83% while driving a Vauxhall Astra VXR (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 14,000 spirited miles
Bought these after having the 19" version on my previous alloys and finding them very good. Once again, I found these tires to be superb in both the wet and dry, only just starting to show signs of loosing their performance at the time of replacing (around 2mm). Sidewalls nice and stiff in the XL version and were very progressive. These seemed to last a bit longer than the 19" version I had previously used which is a bonus. Approx 14k on my 295bhp Stage 3 Astra VXR. Very rarely span up when quickly pulling away from a standing start and only in cold, damp conditions. Very happy with them. Will be trying Michelin Pilot Super Sports next.

Given 83% while driving a Vauxhall Astra VXR (235/35 R19 W) on a combination of roads for 12,000 spirited miles
Excellent tire with very good grip in the wet or dry, even when worn down to the last couple of mm. The sidewalls feel nice and stiff (XL version) which gives better feedback and less roll in the corners. The downside is they are slightly noisier than others such as the Goodyear Eagle F1A2, however I felt it was worth it. Although not ideal, I used these during the winter months with no problems other than on ice or deep snow. Couldn't ask for more from "Summer Tires". They lasted approximately 12k miles which in my opinion is acceptable for this level of performance.

Given 64% while driving a Ford S Max (225/50 R17) on mostly town for 3,000 spirited miles
Fitted them to the front on a smax 2.0 diesel after the previous Goodyear Vector 4 seasons had worn out. Advised by Ford not to fit the goodyears again after they only lasted 9 months and 8000 miles very heavy wear on front outsides. Sad to report the conti's have only lasted 3000 miles and 4 months and they need changing. The s-max is now on 32000 miles and 3 and a half years old and it has eaten its way through 2 sets of tires on the back and 4 on the front. Ford say this is normal for the type of driving done, hilly area, fast a and b roads with lots of accelerateing, braking and turning. Think I will go back to the vectors as I still have these on the back from 2 years ago and they still have about 4.5 mm of tread left. Car did have run flats new and was bought as an ex demo, Ford changed them to non run flats whilst it was still demo.

Given 71% while driving a Volkswagen CC (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 22,000 average miles
Tires have been good lasted well at 22,000 just changing the fronts, rears are still ok for now. Bought the contiseal because of the self sealing for minor punctures and they have been very satisfactory.

Given 49% while driving a Audi A5 (255/35 R19 W) on a combination of roads for 7,000 average miles
Had high expectations for these tires but after 7000 miles it was time for them to go. Took them off with 4mm still remaining all round on four tires. Took them off in October and put the winter tires on so temperatures were ok and we werent driving on snow and ice with the contis. They were fine to start with as new tires should be but once down to 4mm they were rubbish. The car lost traction when setting off, it was slipping a bit on corners and the car was skittish. It was as though these tires were made of two bands of rubber, a soft outer layer and a hard inner one. Would i have these tires on my car again? No way. Just done 5000 miles with Goodyear eagles on and much much better, hardly any wear and the cars stable and quiet and got total confidence back again.

Given 74% while driving a Ford S Max (235/45 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 4,500 spirited miles
These tires were fitted on my 200bhp Ford S-Max Titanium X Sport. Factory Michelins lasted well but when I went to Contis Sport 2 it transformed the handling but the wear was quicker.I was expecting good things of the 5 and yes the handling was brilliant wet or dry , great feed back too. The noise levels were fine as well. The downside , they have just been replaced at 2.0 mm at 4500 miles and 5 months use. Even wear and grip has remained good , no tramlining like the Michelins. So unless you have deep pockets and rate grip above all else I could not recommend these on this car , or anything that is heavy .The replacement Pirelli P Nero GT , see how they go.

Given 59% while driving a Mercedes Benz CLK 220 CDI Sport (255/35 R18 W) on mostly country roads for 10,000 spirited miles
Very disappointed with these tires, I've had them for about 9 months and covered just over 10K in them and they are worn through already. I had a puncture on one side after having them on for a month so had to buy another one and it's worn away just as quickly.
In the dry these tires perform reasonably well but in the wet the grip is well below average.
I normally drive reasonably quick cars so I get used to noisy tires but these are exceptionally noisy.

Given 61% while driving a Renault clio 197 (215/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 8,000 spirited miles
A fairly good tire with good road feedback, grips especially well in the dry but wears rapidly. Wouldn't buy again for this reason, I've found the Goodyear F1's a much better all round tire which lasts a lot longer.

Given 83% while driving a Mercedes Benz SLS AMG (295/30 R20 P) on mostly motorways for 120 spirited miles
Good grip on dry roads, but be careful in the wet...I've experienced aquaplaning once. The rear tires lasted 17.000km and the front tires will last, probably, some more 3000 km.

Given 71% while driving a Renault Megane RS250 (235/35 R19 W) on a combination of roads for 8,000 spirited miles
Good tire with very good dry grip. When driven hard in the wet they can become a bit unpredictable especially when under 3mm were they would sometimes suddenly loose traction. Very strong braking as ever with a Continental tire and good on track, didn't overheat and loose grip as quickly as I was expecting. Wear rate the only problem as only lasted 8000 miles and 2 track days, looking a michelin super sports as next tire!

Given 96% while driving a Audi R8 V10 SPYDER (295/35 R19 W) on a combination of roads for 600 spirited miles
Recently fitted a full set of these to my Audi R8 V10 Spyder, instead of replacing the P Zeros with the same i decided to try these out based upon recomendations from Audi and Forums. I have to say they are so much quieter than the Pirellis, very good feedback and cornering at high speed and on the track is better than the P Zeros, they are similar in price. hoping i get better wear too as the P Zeros only lasted 6000 miles ( although this did inc a couple of track days ! )also very reasuring in the wet and braking. Very happy with them.
