Top 3 Continental WinterContact TS 810 S Reviews

Given 91% while driving a Toyota Yaris (175/65 R15 T) on a combination of roads for 14,000 average miles
Yaris 1.5l 111hp, Balkan region with first hot begining of winter (10°C) and ending with cold winter (-15°C) heavy snow and a little bit of ice rain. I am still driving them and after 4 winters and 20.000km they have 0.6mm depth. So I would recommend this tire for compact vehicels for European winters. Its an old model so when this one is done i will go for newer one TS830 or TS860.

in snow very dangerous

Given 31% while driving a Hyundai i30 (225/40 R18 V) on mostly country roads for 1,000 spirited miles
Dry: acceptable, good brake performance, but tend to understeer in fast corners, acceleration traction is mediocre.

Wet: traction on the wet is a disaster, the wheels keep spinning when accelerating out of corners. Too much understeer on the wet. It's a little better in deep standing water, aquaplaning resistance seems fair. Brake performance is OK however.

Snow: a total disaster for a winter tire, on only a thin 2cm layer of fresh snow these tires provide zero traction and no cornering grip on the white stuff. I've had summer tires with better grip in the snow than these.

Comfort: definitely not the quietest tire at lower speeds, but at highway speeds they're fine. Their sidewalls appear soft which absorb road damages and potholes quite well.

Conclusion: a winter tire to avoid at all cost, because of the dangerously low grip in winter conditions.

Tires is ok on wet conditions , but definitely they are not good for for snow or ice . In ice/ snow conditions only me couldnt drive off from car Park. All neighbours had abit issues , but managed to drive away. Dont buy these tires if u gone be driving in snowing conditions.

Given 76% while driving a Audi (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
Every time temperatures fall below -15 degrees C, I noted a huge risk of a deflated tire. I always had my tires installed at the Audi dealership and they use nothing but the best for their cars. I am not sure but I feel the rubber component is not adapted for such cold weather conditions. Does it shrink more than other models at cold temperatures? This is my third deflated tire this season (installed early November) and I will try to have them changed by the maker. There are no perforations whatsoever nor any defective valves... Just deflated as if the rubber sealant can't hold the tire on the mags at these temperatures. I will also challenge the dealership on the type of sealant they use before going to Continental.
Nevertheless, this is a good performance tire but not meant for heavier snow conditions. I will go back and consider a Scandinavian tire maker such as Nokian as they understand the Canadian weather conditions and have by far the best winter tires on the market if you are willing to pay the price.

Quieter, smoother and does not tramline when compared to the Conti Sport Contact 2 summer tire.
