The GT Radial SportActive 2 improves the SportActivie by improving wet braking by 15%, wet handling by 10% and aquaplaning resistance by 10%. The new tire also improves mileage by offering a 5% boost, all while keeping a low noise level, measured at 69dB on the EU tire label.

The GT Radial SportActive 2 will initially be available in 14 sizes with rims from 16-20", section widths from 205-275, series sizes from 35-55 and with speed indices across W-Y.

2023-06-24 - Hi guys, would a size of 225/45 R19 have a rim protector on this tire?

I've spoken to GT Radial and they say that size does have a rim protector :)

2024-06-02 - Does the Active Sport 2 tire size 255/35/20 97y have the rim protection.

Yes, all UHP GT Radial tires have rim protection. It's not as big as some of the Bridgestone and Pirelli offerings, but it's there.
