The tire is good. The grip in the wet so not so good after 30,000 km.

These are a very underwhelming tire. Original equipment on my Focus, I have been surprised how poor they perform against other tires in their price bracket. Too much tread deformation to be considered a handling/feedback tire. An erratic transition to understeer/oversteer plaques spirited driving. Finally on the negative side, the noise is unacceptable in 2010. The positive side, they wear very well provided you rotate every 5000kms and they ride well on harsh Australian roads.

I used these tires on a Vauxhall Vecrta B 1.8 for approx 50000 miles replacing the front every 12-15k miles and the rears 20-25k miles. Although been a family based car I have always been a very spirited driver pushing to the limit of the car, suspension and tire combination. I would use these every time but the size I need now for my new car are not made any more because the Excellence apeered and now the nct is no more.

These tires were supplied as factory fits for my BMW 520D in October 2007. I've just had a dealer service and they've advised that I should "think about" changing the (original) rear tires as they were between 2&3mm. Mileage? Well, I'll hit the 40,000 mark next week and it is booked in for new tires. Is this a record for a rear wheel drive BMW?! Incidentally, the front tires are still good for at least another 5k. Problems? Only that the very cold 2009/10 winter occasionally caused a loss of tire pressure (minus 10c+ cold start followed by a fast motorway drive seemed to cause the loss of pressure and indicator light to flash). I know that these tires aren't cheap and the ride can be on the firm side but they are the best tires I've used in 25 years. Highly recommended.

im considering to try michellin or falken or goodyear assymetric if there is a size that would fit my OEM 195/r15 55 v82 next change. im looking for more grip and softer quieter ride.

Have covered 23,000 miles on fronts and just due for change. Have always found Goodyear good value premium tire with long life. Like most tires road noise has increased significantly with wear. Although I would recommennd these tires I am switching to Falken following raving reviews from my mates. If I can get the same milage out of these than the change will be permanent at ?50 a tire less than to Goodyear!

Good long lasting tire. They came along with my pug 307xsi and they are a decent set for city/road driving.
After 40,000 kms their dry grip declined a bit but they were still solid.
Now at 55,000 they could last easily for another 10,000 kms but I?m switching for Eagle Excellence because I drive a lot in highway.

tires lasted well but the lack of grip in the wet was quite terrible, teamed with the lack of feedback from the road these tires arnt great in the wet. In the dry they are pretty average.

My next set of tires are Uniroyal Rainsport 2's. Ive used these before and they are amazing. Would definately recommend.

noticeably shaper turn in than budget set replaced. absolutely solid roadholding on fast country run. secure during high speed drive in torrential rain. solid 8/10.

Already fitted when I bought the car, definately would not replace with the same or recommend. Most of my mileage is on rural B roads, dry grip is OK, wet grip is truely awful - very scary on the bends or any contamination (mud etc) on the road. This morning was the first properly frosty morning of the winter and the grip was non existant. At one point I had to pull over to allow the convoy stuck behind me to pass!! (I'm not a slow driver - I hold an amateur race licence). These tires are so bad I'm going to replace them before they are even half worn and take the financial hit.

Bought my new 530d in may they came with Goodyear NCT5 in runflat format.

Probably thee worst tire i have ever used, tramline like mad slightest groove in the road and its all over the place, i;ve done 4,568 and they need replaced already mostly the front which are down to the limit marker there is no uneven wear so my steering and tracking is fine would never replace with these tires again.

I cant fault these tires, came as standard equipment on the car from the factory. Almost 50,000 motorway miles driven on these from new and only now comming up to the legal limit, rotated front tires to rear at around 25,000 miles.
Grip is good in wet and dry conditions pretty quiet and no problems with handling or comfort. Low maintenence I can think of 1 time I've needed to put air in.
I'm replacing these with the same and hope they last just as long.
