Top 3 Syron Street Race Reviews

Given 64% while driving a Citroën C2 VTS (195/45 R16) on mostly country roads for 1,500 spirited miles
First time I'm trying a semislick. Dry handling is amazing, the grip on corner really excellent on mountains road. They need to be heated to get a good level of grip, otherwise it's quite poor, especially with lower temperatures. They are ok in the wet if you don't push them, but this is just when they still have a good thread.. after 2500km they worn out and I have to change them. Don t know if I'd buy them again. On track I didn't see a particular step forward compared to my previous uhp summer tires

Given 67% while driving a Toyota Celica GT4 (225/40 R18 W) on mostly country roads for 8,000 spirited miles
Very good and grippy tire, plenty of feedback, stiff sidewall, progressive... However it is very noisy (in straight line) and won't last too long (About 8000km in my case, 95% road use / 5% track use). Awesome choice for the track, not refined at all for the road. Works well when cold or rain though.

Given 96% while driving a Fiat Grande Punto TJet (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 30,000 spirited miles
I have them on for 3 years now. I treat them with no respect at all. These tires are very reliable and i was amazed by the responce od the tire, and the strength of the sidewalls. In the dry are just great and on the wet as well. As a semislick. you need to be a bit carefull in the wet. There are always very progressive, and to not wear fast. The only thing that can be annoying is the noise in dry asfalt that looks like a mirror(bad condition of the road). I am already looking to replace them again. I bought them for 400 EUROS and it was a bargain all the way.

Given 76% while driving a Mitsubishi (225/45 R17) on track for 4,000 spirited miles
This tire has a cost performance of the best.Control characteristics are also the highest in the grip of the highest level.Weakness of this tire is life, I will celebrate the life of about 3,000 miles.People to choose I think, this tire does not consider the road noise. So, will not be described that point.
Can be purchased at $ 60 is such tires, would be great.

Given 94% while driving a Renault Clio RS200 (225/45 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 1,300 spirited miles
Superb value for money! Have these on my Clio RS200 and they have outperformed my previous Continent sport 5's. I'm yet to try them on track but road driving and a spirited drive through the Brecon Beacons has surprised me. I where the conti 5's used to wash out, these have yet to let go even when pushed. I have not noticed much difference in ride comfort. Road noise is louder, especially when on ultra smooth Tarmac or paint lines but can only hear when windows are down. They have been on for just over 1300 miles and seem to be wearing ok. They do only come with 5.5mm of tread but for the price another set will still be cheaper than expensive alternatives.
