Vredestein Ultrac Vorti Reviews - Page 8

Given 96% while driving a Skoda Octavia vRS (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 4,000 spirited miles
I changed from Continental Sport Contact 5's to these after reading the reviews on here. It's probably the best tire move I've made yet.
I paid £85.80 per corner for each of these and am amazed how good they are. They are far better than the Contis in all aspects.
The car feels absolutely planted through fast sweepers as well as hairpins, I really cannot fault them at all and would buy again without hessitation.
Another huge point for me is road noise. I always found the Contis quite noisy for my car but these are excellent. To be honest I cannot find anything bad to write about them.

Great tire with stacks of grip. Nice soft wall so gives you more cabin comfort and reduces road noise. These will give you track day grip on normal every day roads. Very happy at £99 a corner you can not go wrong. So far ran on these for 8500 miles with approx 25% wear.

these tire are phenomenal is on dry that on the wet one, they have solo a small defect, on the narrow (rotundas small or returning) curves they don't hold a lot

Going from Conti SC3s to these all round its like Night and Day tbh... Have no doubt in my mind i wish i used these around the Nurburgring when i visited a couple of months back... really compliments the Quaife LSD...

I wouldnt hesitate to recommend these tires, having just visited the Evo Triangle in north wales, I have gained far more confidence over the Conti's...

Premium Assymetric tire for a midrange price... independant tire reviews agree

Having changed to these tires from Yokohamas following reading several positive reviews, I couldn't be more pleased. The Yohohamas were DREADFUL in the wet and these Vreds are excellent. Due to the low profile they are very firm but most others at this profile would be the same. Never let me down even when pushed hard. Prefer them to Continentals and Pirellis. Would purchase again.

Due to all reviews and feedback from fellows I changed my bridgestone S001 with the vorti; I was 100% happy with the S001 because of their stiff sidewall mostly. The Vreds looks more or less the same and they are cheaper, so far so good. Maybe not as stiff as Bridgestone. Personally I don't like the Giugiaro logo on sidewall. Anyway good tires

Had the Bridgstone run flats removed and the Veld Vortis fitted and the difference is like night and day. The first things you notice is the ride and the noise or to be more specific the lack of noise.First the ride . Gone is the tooth shaking effect experienced every time you went over a patch in the road or a change in surface, now the car just rides over them , the reduction in tire noise is incredible its now possible have a conversation with the passenger. Tram-lining is a thing of the past you can actually drive the car now. The grip is fantastic and the rears respond instantly when you put your foot down. Overall I am impressed.

No doubt this could be achieved with other tire makes and specs but for me the Vredstein Ultrac Vorti is the way to go.

Tire pressure as the car recommended pressures are based on run flats I stuck with my gut feeling of 34 psi on fronts 225x40x18 and 36 on rears 255x35x18. and the balance seem's fine, will keep an eye on tire wear and adjust if needed.

Would I choose Vorti's ,in a heart beat

Given 100% while driving a Ford Kuga (255/35 R20 W) on mostly motorways for 1,500 spirited miles
Hi to all!
I was looking for tires wich are very stabil on a high speeds on the wet and dry grip, and has as much possible good wear. Nothing else i was not interested.
I installed my Vorti month ago and went to trevel to Europe with them.
Now is 5100km spent on odometr.
Half of the way in Germany i drive very sporty from 180-230km, couple of hours from 200-230km? also was on wet and dry conditions (in heavy rain too).
Other way in different countries had a 110-150km.
Before i use Bridgestone Dueller HP Sport in 235/45/19 on this car and Michelin PilotSport3 on fathers Focus in 225/40/18 so i will compare with them.
My opinion about Vori is:
- Fenomenal grip on Dry
- Exellent grip on Wet. I drive in rain in autobahns 180-200km on straight. Only in a long curve closely to the corner was more water and in 160-170km i got and feel some short aquaplanning. But it is ok for this water and speed.
- Very quite tires, so quite that i'm surprised. Quiter than MPS3 and Bridgestone.
- Progressive and Feedback are perfect as on i high speeds tires are stiil keeping a touch with you also in a long curves and have the effect of expansion duting a heave braking.
- Incredibly good wear! I checked the new tires they had a 6.5 to 7mm. After 5100km in such conditions - they are absolutely same!
I will definitely recommend Ultrac Vorti!

Given 90% while driving a Audi A4 (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 5,000 average miles
After alot of research I bought these tires and was really pleasee I did!
I have a 2004 A4 with uprated 2007 s line 18" 8j ronal alloys. The tires that came with them were 245 40 18 P zero's, a decent tire but with too much wear and lacking wet grip. I now have 225 40 18 vredestein ultra vorti's on all corners. They look great with a very sleek tight look and a good rim protector. My car now sits better on the road. Dry and wet grIp is amazing. I will be choosing these again for sure! Payed £87 each from Camskil wih next day delivery.

Given 91% while driving a Skoda Octavia vRS (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 spirited miles
I have recently fitted these tires after a lot of consideration. My baptism was a 200 mile drive immediately after install. My car was marginally quieter, smoother and considerably more ' planted ' on all road surfaces.
An excellent looking tire too which inspires confidence even when the car is standing still.
I am more than happy with my choice, the tires were supplied and excellently fitted by Colin Brennan Motor Services of Lancs 07973 714260.

Mac

Given 100% while driving a Volkswagen MKV GTI (225/40 R18) on mostly town for 1,000 spirited miles
I have given these tires full marks across the board as they have completely transformed my car. Previously had Continental contact 3's and these blow them away. Grp is superb in all conditions and they are much quieter.

Had to wait a week for them to be imported by mytires.co.uk but was totaly worth it.

Bought them over pilot sports and havent looked back!

Do it!
