So, first off, I have only had the tires about a week and a half. I put them on a 1981 Mercedes 300SD that has very low power. I have noticed in many cases where I have a tire that others reviewed as bad, I look for the common denominator, which is usually a car type the tire doesn't work for. In some cases, the tire likes heavy or light cars, or not good for performance, and those who have the opposite end up giving a bad review. Anyway, these tires are on a 43yr old car, and they make no road noise, I can do short curves at aggressive speeds (as aggressive as a 300SD can be) with very good stick to the road making me feel very confident. The ride over bumps and potholes are just normal, nothing bad or good, just normal. The overall ride is very comfortable. I don't remember driving in any rain yet, but they seem to be very much like the Master Craft tires I had before making me "believe" they'll be fine. If they turn out to not be fine, I will return and post that information. I drive close to 140 miles a day, so my week and a half review is about as good as someone else's month+ review. For such a VERY low price in the world of "there must be gold in those tires" prices, I'll buy them every time I need tires on this car.

They are ok for what they are.. a cheap tire, they came with the car I bought and will be replaced with better tires ASAP!

Well these tires were fitted to my 1972 dodge dart demon 318 when I purchased the car a few weeks ago. The front left (drivers side was badly worn on the outer edge and I assumed tracking was out. However I was at a car meet talking a guy about the car and mentioned the tire issue. He looked and said it looked like a structural failure in the tire ie a metal band belt within the tire had broken and deformed the tire . Tried to contact Evergreen to ask where I could obtain a replacement (I’m in the U.K.) and I received an automatic response but no helpful information. Looks like I will have to ditch all four for another brand before I get a ticket. Shame as the other three have plenty of meat on the tread.

Fitted to a my classic Mercedes’ 280se w126 so far 7000km and no sign of wear. Having had very poor tires previously fitting talon gls to the rear and cntt gls to the front has been a massive improvement. Despite being budget in both dry and wet the tires maintain good contact with the road. Even at European motorway speeds they handle well. Always progressive feedback and good surface adhesion despite occasional potholes and surface undulations. Apart from being more noisy than a premium tire I have been very happy.

got all my 4 tires worn (Bridgestone EP150, hasn't changed it since 2014). found this tire has more positive reviews than EP150 with the same price range. dry grip is great, relatively low noise and good level of comfort but the wet grip is just okay, not outstanding. can't decide to buy it again yet because I'm just using it for about 6 months, waiting for a full durability reports

The car - 1970’s 1100kg classic sports car pushing out over 230bhp and 210lbft to the rear tires.

In short - I am gobsmacked by how good these tires are and recommend a buy any day in this size and for this type of car (powerful, light, RWD).

Previously using the Michelins Energy Saver tires, they suddenly and without any notice lost grip on a damp road at around 30mph and on say 20%throttle in 3rd. It sacred the b’jeezez out of me snaking across both lanes of the dual carriageway and ending up on the stuff on the side of the road. So in came the T005 tires.

Getting caught out in torrential rain in Silverstone, the wet grip and handling were utterly phenomenal!! Even on the surrounding dirty country roads. I was pushing 90% or more as hard in the wet as I could in the dry, carrying big speeds into the corners. This is no exaggeration. They inspire so much confidence in the wet. For example: With the Michelins I could easily smoke up the rear tires in the wet or dry pulling out of junctions. With the Turanzas it takes a LOT of effort to make them let go in the wet let alone in the dry. I would be burning the clutch at 5krpm to get them to let go in the dry.

Dry grip is excellent and road feedback is way better than the Michelins.

The on the edge handling behaviour is very progressive in the wet and a tiny bit mushy in the dry before they start to let go. But the 70 profile probably contributes to that. Although you get plenty of feedback as to when they are reaching that limit. Roundabouts are an absolute hoot.

Braking in the wet as you expect is outstanding. Dry braking is also excellent but again can get a little mushy before lock up (no ABS on my car). Having said that, it is MUCH harder to get lock up than with the Michelins and it’s now a rare occurrence, allowing for braking much later and harder, carrying more speed into the corner and able to get on the power much earlier.

I can’t comment on wear as the car only does a 1000 miles a year with some light track work. Given how grippy they are, I doubt they would last a million miles, but that’s the compromise you make on any tire for having great traction.

I was hoping to use the excellent continental premium contact 6s I run on both my other cars, but given they aren’t available in this size, the T005s in my humble opinion are as close as you can get.

I have driven this model on various tires, some of them very expensive. I am utterly amazed by the Mohawks.
Compared to Michelin MXV they grip and steer just as well in the dry, are definitely quieter and less harsh on
bumps and provide quite remarkably tenacious grip on a wet road. They are stable and vibration free in high
speed cruising right up to the cars 120mph maximum. The CX carries 70% of its weight on the front wheels
so they tend to wear the front outer shoulder when driven hard. The Mohawks seem to resist this quite well so
I am expecting a life at least as long as the Michelins. If they were the same price I would still pick the Mohawks
based on performance. The fact that they are a budget tire makes them incredible value for money. I would
buy them again in a heartbeat!

Wow, What a fantastic difference! Excellent wet and dry grip... I can drive over any kind of road surface with confidence, even those shiny patches on old roads in the wet that you think for sure will cause your car to go for a slide, these Dunlop LM 704 tires just grip. Handling... another wow! Finally my Mercedes 230E handles corners because these tires love corners. I think you will be impressed with the cornering, just magic. You can turn onto a corner with these tires and they just want to go around with no effort at all, they practically drive the car around corners willing to turn with ease and great precision. Comfort is much better than previous tires too so thats a relief, they are rubbery supple and not harsh at all. Noise seems to be low but its difficult to say because i can't hear if they are making any noise over the usual wind noise etc. so thats ok too. So far fuel economy looks ok but its too early to say for sure. Will see how they last and I'll add a second review in around 6 months or so. The terrain these tires are being used in is all winding mountain roads, steep sections and some hair-pin bends too, often wet and slippery because it rains for about 7 months of the year, low temps and the occasional very light snow. Then there is the short hot summer to deal with. Conclusion; a wow tire for handling and steering precision, great wet grip and dry, with excellent rubbery supply comfort. I believe you will love them! :D

These tires are just great! I live in Mexico and really enjoy roadtrips with either family or friends. I must say that we have awful roads and highways down here and it's really an adventure driving on them, taking that into account, my opinion is that these YOKOHAMA tires are plain "AWESOME" overall. So, if you live in a first world country, chances are you will have the same opinion after you try them.
