185/70 15 Tire Review Highlights

Bridgestone Weather Control A005 rated 43% while driving a Renault Mudus 1.5 DCI Oasis
Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 easy going miles
Based on my experience, the tires performance wise were alright. On ice or snow - worse than the worst winter tires, and probably better than the best summer tires. Overall it wasn't too noisy. But they have worn down very badly in only 1.5 years during which they did only 15k miles. Imagine that: time zero - getting new tires installed. time +1.5 years - visually the thread is looking low. time + 1.8 years - MOT warning (still a pass). Those tires did not last long at all. Run from them. I do not recommend. Maybe for other cars it's a different story, but based on my experience - run. I will never buy this again, and I will attempt to look away from Bridgestone altogether. That said, other inspected brand (different tires, different car) has it's own different problems, so you have to choose which negative you can take.

Cheap & Best. The cheapest tire on the market but very durable and good grip. Would recommend to everyone.

Yokohama A Drive rated 66% while driving a Fiat Grande Punto 1.3Multijet 75bhp
Driving on mostly motorways for 42000 spirited miles
Had used this tires with my Fiat Punto and it was just good for 42K KMs and became bald in sides. Also the Tire wall was very soft to make the drive comfortable.
Road Grip was good in dry condition and in wet condition, it was aquaplaning. The tire wear is too high.
The driving was mixed in City and Highways (India) and returned good mileage, but not great.

Have a set of these on my 1974 TR6. She has 5.5J wire wheels, and the tires are just great. Why pay more.
