275/55 19 Tire Review Highlights

Nokian Remedy WRG5 rated 85% while driving a GMC Terrain
Driving on mostly country roads for 100 easy going miles
Replaced WRSUV G3 that suffered tread separation after 5 years; the G5 version of the WRSUV is smoother running and virtually noiseless.

Continental 4x4 Contact rated 55% while driving a Mercedes Benz Mercedes
Driving on mostly motorways for 50000 easy going miles
These tires are horrible. I bought 275/55/19 on my Mercedes G Class and they wear off to 6" in less than 4k miles. I DON'T do offloading but only weekend driving. I don't recommend these tires to any driver. One of the tires developed deep pockets in less than 4k driving miles and all 6" wear tread. Folks, stay away from Continental. They are overhyped brand. You will get more value for your money with Yokohama, Nito, Toyo

Dunlop SP Sport Maxx rated 0% while driving a Mercedes Benz GL320 CDI

Just bought them to replace Michelin Latitude Sport. Both are MO. For now they are ok. Will update in a few km. 275/55 R19 111V MFS MO

Michelin Latitude Sport rated 65% while driving a Mercedes Benz GL320 CDI
Driving on mostly motorways for 6000 spirited miles
The tire were already fitted when I bought the car. The performed ok until the end. With the tread down to legal limit they maintain a very good wet grip. I just don't consider to buy again because they are outdated. Not tested offroad. Only did 6000ml with them but they did many more. I just don't know the number.

Continental 4x4 Contact rated 57% while driving a Mercedes Benz GL450
Driving on mostly town for 14000 average miles
The perfect tire if you plan to go nowhere! The car was barely driven during the pandemic and was taken to be serviced prior to returning to work. I asked the shop to rotate the tires and they said that they need to be replaced at 14,000 miles! Showing "consciousness of guilt" Continental does not warranty wear on these tires and neither do the sellers of these losers. As these are original equipment on many of the favorite car for lawyers, I foresee a Class action lawsuit.

Pirelli Scorpion Zero rated 59% while driving a Mercedes Benz GL 420 CDI
Driving on mostly town for 25000 easy going miles
I bought these tires as they were recommended from the dealer as MO equipment and the "best you can get" for a MB GL 420 CDI. Well...hopefully this is not the best what I can get as the grip, especially in wet conditions, was really poor. There was a lot of slipping and you felt really unsafe. Nothing wrong with the wear tho - had them for three seasons and the thread was still OK for a season or perhaps even two. Would defintelly not recommend because of wet grip category. Looking for something different to put on in the spring time.

I definitely wouldn't but it again. Wear rate is so high.
I have used it on a Mercedes G500 for only 1 year app 10,000Kms but treads look bald.
easily get cuts on simple stones.
Good on noise reduction thou.

BE AWARE DON’T GET THESE TIRES!! ACCORDING TO PIRELLI THEY HAVE NO WARRENTY ON THEM!!!!
I purchased these tires for my wife’s suv. In 4000 miles these tires have worn down to 2/32nd in the rear and 6/32 in the front. My wife is the safest driver I have ever met, I assure you she isn’t drag racing her suv on the weekends. I have been forced to buy a new pair of tires, and have only had them for 10 months, which means another grand out the door. This is pathetic, and when I called Pirelli I was told that I have the Asimmetrico tires (which I don’t) then I was told all scorpion zero tires are high performance and offer no warranty at all, and the best they could do is offer me 10% off my next set of tires. What a Joke. I have 4 cars, three of which have Pirelli tires on them and once the tread ware on each of them warrants replacement I will not be going back to Pirelli.
