I have a 2009 Fiesta Zetec 1.4TDCi and they were fitted to the car when i got it. They had just been put on the car before it was sold to me. They are actually the cheapest tire i have found for my car (only needed to replace one after finding a rather large pothole). I travel around the narrow windy country roads of northumberland and lets just say i dont hang around. these tires make the car stick to the road like a go-kart. they are unbelievable for a budget tire.

This is an update from my November 2011 review of these tires.
Since then the car has been used daily for both commuting and leisure and the mileage is now around 14,000 on them so I can give an even more informed opinion.
My partner drove the car fitted with these tires all through the winter snow, ice and rain and only reported one minor slide and that was down to her being overly optimistic when entering a snow corner covered slightly too fast and you can't blame the tires for that.

Other than having to replace one tire through hitting a deep pothole which caused the sidewall to blister, the tires have behaved as good as any tire I've had fitted to any of my cars over the years.
The mileage wear is remarkable and handling is good in all conditions even when pushed on the GT, so much so that I have fitted a pair to the rear of my C2 VTR driving school car and I'm about to replace the front tires with the Deltas to complete the set.
There's a lot of rubbish talked about tires, mostly by drivers who are clueless when it comes to handling a car properly - these tires are both excellent value for money and give a level of handling that can compete with many mid to premium brand tires and should never let anyone down if the car is driven remotely sensibly.

Would I buy Deltas again?... based on my experience, you bet I would!

There was a brand new set of Accelera Delta tires fitted to an 04 plate, C2 GT which I bought 4 months ago. Since then, my partner has driven the car daily - her daily work commute is a 40 mile round trip across some of the most windy roads in the country. She certainly doesn't hang around ( spirited would be a good description) and has reported no problems with grip or handling, even during the recent wettest periods.

I've only driven the car a handful of times but I certainly gave it a jolly good testing of the car's and tire's limits and both the car and tires behaved impeccably on some very poor roads and not once did I experience any problems. On motorways, the tires also behave as they should.

The tires are firm and responsive if slightly noisy on rough roads but the grip is there when eaccelerating hard with the little sporty car and certainly nothing to worry about!
So far, the tires have shown little wear in the 5000 miles they've covered so I'd expect decent wear from them.
For budget priced tires, they are excellent and have exceeded my expectations.
Would I purchase another set...most definitely yes!
