Recently purchase a Volvo C30 D3 2012 R-Design and these tires were already fitted.
I have being driving on them just over one month and I have just ordered up a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 to replace them.I have little faith in these tires and do wonder why some people fit such a poor tire on a reasonably powerful car.In the dry they are just about passable,it's a complete lack of feedback from the tire and the noise given off by them is terrible on certain road surfaces as for wet grip it's very poor and traction brakes very easily with little feedback.
I suggest you give these a wide berth next time some tire outlet suggests them and try and purchase some a tad better.

I bought a Jaguar XJ 3.0 Diesel 2013 and these were fitted to it front 245/45R19 and rear 275/40R19. In the dry they are ok grip wise however in the wet they are useless and dangerous. Very very very noisy specially on a cold dry winter day. I have done good 3k miles and they havent worn a touch, not serprised though because they are like hard lump of plastic not rubber. You can tell from their colour they are a very hard tire. I am going to changing them all to Falken even though there is still good 5mm of tread left on them. I really don't understand why people put rubbish tire on luxury and sport cars. Why buy an expensiv flashy car and try to save a few pounds on the most critical thing on the car. My advise to people DO NOT buy these horrible/ dangerous tires. If you have a sport car buy mid-range or premium. If you have an everyday car and you want to save money then buy a better budget brand probably cost a fiver per tire more if that.

Brilliant tires for the price. Little bit noisy at higher speeds but saved £150 against Pirelli. Have really good grip in all weathers for a budget tire and are a bit better than the dunlops they replaced. Would reccomend.

Bought a set for the rear of my bmw 530d that has also been remapped. Everyone said thet where crap put lasted me 25000 miles the car has 575nm of torque going to the back wheels so never expected to get that distance out of them!! Never caused me any problems in the wet or dry and i like to boogy on.. for the price i would highly recommend amd have even bought another set myself

just bought some Accelera PHI tires and are having them fitted today, after reading reviews I thought o no a noisy poor quality tire that does,nt handle in the wet. Not good if fitting to an E46 M3. this is the first set of tires that I shall be fitting to the car in the 5 years of ownership of it.
My current tires hit the 1.6 wear indicator about 3 months ago so really do need changing.
checked my tires yesterday to see what I have and low and behold i,m already running Accelera PHI and some Kendels on the front
I am more than happy to have these tires on the car again and I found that the only time I get the bad road noise is when I hit the concrete section of the M25 which is not often.

Acelera PH1 2 on rear tires only ( note GY Eagle F1 Asy 3 on front axle ).
As a tire snob I only bought these 275/40 R19 105Y due to 2 bad sidewall punctures ... all they had in my size stranded out in the sticks!
On the face of it ... not a usual choice for an S class coupe with a reasonably powerful 5.5L V8 engine with the 7G Plus gearbox.
0-60 in 5 secs. So in fairness they didnt really stand a chance.
On the positive side they are quiet, and at UK legal speeds, pottering around they are "superficially" surprisingly good.
For A low powered shopping trolley they might be OK in the dry.

What I dont like is the lack of "feel", and if pushed a little in the wet on a long bend ... the back can be made to drift out unnervingly easily.
The main flaw is in the wet; even accelerating relatively briskly will result in the back snaking side to side. I assume this is simple the tires being unable to handle the power ( despite lord knows how many technologies such as ESP, Traction Control, LSD etc. )
I dont have the guts to try the flat out "Launch" mode. But I am convinced it would result in the car remaining stationery and the rear tires smoking like hell!
These are just not suitable for a performance car.
My main concern would be .. if one can get the back to snake so easily in the wet; does it follow that if you had to do an emergency brake in the wet, would they lose grip equally quickly?? I think so.
For this reason I would never buy tires like these again ... and as soon as Goodyear make my tire size in the Asymmetric 3 I will change them !
As they say its not how you drive but what others will do!
Even if I drive extremely cautiously .... if someone just instantly comes out in front of you ... I wouldnt like to rely on these in the wet.

DO NOT BUY these tires for an STR.

When I changed to them it felt like I was driving on an icy surface on a dry summers day. Anything over 70mph is to be avoided and things deteriorate further when it's wet. Cheap yes but I really didn't feel safe on them until I moderated my driving style to something akin to driving in winter conditions.

Definitely would not recommend or buy again - have gone for Michelins this time.

I was dubious about buying these tires but went for it and have not regretted it. Reviews saying that they are no good is rubbish. if you drive everywhere like you are on a track then maybe, but i go around twisty roads in my 220hp front wheel drive mini which can always be a handful with no worries. wet or dry . if you drive like a **ck then these maybe are not for you , but normal people and the occasional b road sunday make you feel better driver will have no probs. Why pay 3 times as much for tires that you will never take to the edge.

Used them before and great in dry, outstanding wear they are very tough tires and give good resistance to punctures and pot hole damage. However in the wet with tread worn they will skid at 25 to 30 mph! wear indicators still not level so this gives you an idea they need sorted. Still best prices for a 19.

I purchased a 12 month old car which had both front Tires replaced with Acellera PHI Tires. These tires were acceptable in the dry but horrendous in any form of reduced grip situation. The problems were most noticeable on braking in damp or wet weather. What would be considered normal braking (I am not a heavy braker) would cause the wheels to loose traction and the ABS kick in. I would suggest these in wet circumstances had a braking distance of at least double if not more of a premium tire in the situation.

Unfortunately after about 2000 miles on these tires I felt so unsafe on the road that I decided to replace them with a premium brand tire. If you want to save some money and are happy to no rely on your brakes in anything other than perfect dry conditions these tires are for you. Unfortunately if you value your safety I cannot recommend these tires at all.

I brought this tires 4yrs ago to put on my 2004 crossfire, now living in the Seattle area we get plenty of rain no doubt this tires hold up when its wet out also good dry road grip I'm 9000 miles into them and cant believe the stamina of these tires my other cars have coopers on them the coopers are a little more quiet ride but the accelera phi are a good bang for the buck....

Over the years I have paid £175 for similar sized Yokohama or Falcon tires and I simply can't see any difference in performance or wear.
At £55 a tire online for 19" tires you simply can't go wrong. Dealers quoting about £85. Icant believe some of the reviews on here as I've nothing bad to say about them.
I have used Accelera PHI on my 2008 BMW 730 for over 2 years. I do 15,000 a year and am about to put my third set on the front. The rears had the 2nd set about 6 months ago. They are good for 12-15k miles, just the same as the top end tires. I drive at legal speeds (Mostly) but the tires are fine at high speeds and when flooring it.
I've been driving for 20 years, and have always gone for Mid Range Tires as I thought this was a sensible compromise. But I will always buy these tires going forward. Win Win all round.
