Barum Bravuris 2 Reviews - Page 7

I drive a 4.6 V8 with rediculous amounts of torque. The Barum just handles it all with ease. Great tires stupidly cheap. When the wife's SLK needs new tires that's what I'll be putting on them - same pattern as Continentals.

Given 97% while driving a Mercedes Benz CLK 240 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
Last owner had toyo's on the back and khumo's on the front, and judging by the state of the rims let his guidedog park/abandone the car...had to change all 4 corners. The difference in feedback and road holding is astonishing and I have no hesitation in recommending these tires.Seem to perform well with anything I throw at them with no sign of wear as yet. Blinding value at £336 all-in for the works!

Given 91% while driving a BMW E46 3 Series (205/55 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
I'd never heard of these, but my mechanic rated them and told me they were part on continental. I put a pair on the rear of a bmw 3 series touring that i used for genarally everything a bit grubby from fishing, dogs, tip runs and work as i'm a carpenter. I gave £120 for the pair fitted/balanced and Vat. I have just had the front pair replaced with exactly the same tires and when my missus is up for new tires these are whats going on, there just value for money, excellent grip and wear, so very safe a sturdy. Nice thread pattern for wet weather, only done about 2000 miles on the rear set but they look untouched and bear in mind these are on a rear wheel drive bmw carrying a bit of weight most days.

Had these fitted for about 2000 miles on all four corners so can not comment greatly on wear but still at 8mm all round and can say that they are much quieter and more comfortable than Pirelli P zeros previously fitted. Excellent dry grip and have not let go even when prevoked. Wet grip is very good but I dont drive hard in bad weather but have had no problems on fast motorway roundabouts etc. These tires feel very safe and at 370 quid compered to over 550 for so called premium brands its a no brainer as to my next tire choice when renwel times come.

Barum? lol never heard of them.
They came fitted to my Vectra 1.9 CDTi Estate and I have to admit they're a damn site better than the Pirelli P7 I had.
I do 800 miles a week, mostly motorways, and they just don't rub out, very, very hard wearing.
Very good dry grip, I take some of these motorway slip bends at silly speeds (sorry) and they've never even hinted that they want to skip.
Wet grip seems very good too, though I don't push it too hard in the wet.
Useless in the snow, as you would expect from a summer tire.
Compared to the P7, they're very quiet.

VERY POOR QUALITY PRODUCT
Fitted tires in early October 2011 and have had to replace two at the beginning of March despite only travelling less than 7000 km

Given 100% while driving a BMW 3 series (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 100 average miles
Just fitted four of these on my BMW e46. Previously I had some old and bad Continental's at the back and Firestone's on the front. The car tram-lined like crazy. After fitting the Bravuris 2, tram-lining has completely disappeared! The ride is a lot smoother and comfortable now! The tires are also very quiet! Can't say anything about wear since I just bought them.
First impressions are great, but will wait to see how the tires do after a year or two until I recommend them or decide to buy again...

Given 95% while driving a MINI Cooper (205/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 400 average miles
I replaced run-flats on my MINI with four of these. Needed to replace all 4 tires and was not willing to pay almost £700. I found these Barums on Tireshopper and got all 4 fitted for just over £300. Only had them on for two weeks but feel compelled to share my views. These tires are incredible value. They have completely transformed the ride in my car! They are easily the equal of my previous Dunlops in relation to road-holding and grip. However, in the quietness and comfort stakes, they are leagues ahead!! I would urge everyone to look closely at buying these tires.....they are truly amazing!
