Barum Bravuris 2 Reviews - Page 9

Given 96% while driving a Mazda 5 (225/50 R17 W) on mostly town for 70,000 average miles
I bought these to replace some Wanli's which the garage had put on the car, which were absolutely awaful. The difference in the raod handling was such a difference and felt the car handle much better.
Grip in both wet and dry is excellent, the tires provide a positive feedback. Road noise levels are good. I often do research prior to buying an unknown tire, but these are as good as the Continental Sports I have on the other car. I would certainly purchase these again without any hesitation.

Given 87% while driving a Saab Automobile 9 3 linear sport 1.9TID (150) (225/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
Just bought 4 BRAVURIS 2 replacing old Pirrelli due to wear after reading reviews. Well i have noticed the following:
1. Grip a excellent - fitted on SAAB 9-3 150HP i have been impressed about performance. Wet grip just tested on a normal driving and need further "extended tests" but sound promising but waiting for proper rain.
2.Wear is not a point i could talk about just have them for few days.
3.Comfort - excellent ! There is no noise , at least not so big to be noticed. The car is running way more softer , probably this is most impressive for me at this time as well as road feedback. I strongly believe that BARUM is not economy class tire and should be on the bottom of the premium class at at least on a mid level class.
Long story short price / quality good business with BRAVURIS 2, for sure i will consider the brand again.

Given 77% while driving a BMW E39 5 series (235/45 R17) on mostly town for 1,000 average miles
I have just replaced my Michelin pilot sport with barum bravuris 2 and have 1K miles driven. First impressions are great. I can say nothing about wear yet but don't hesitate to give 10 marks to comfort. they are quit noiseless and soft. Grip is also favorable on both dry and wet roads. Finally I think the combination of price and value is excellent, definitely will buy again, but I have still observe the wear.

Given 85% while driving a Skoda Roomster (205/45 R16 V) on mostly country roads for 12,000 easy going miles
The Bravuris 2 seems to suit our kind of relaxed driving. The originals were Michelin Pilot. These seemed a little too sudden in handling and noisy. The Barvuris are better natured and quieter. They might not suit someone who really wanted to push the car on corners etc; I don't know as I haven't tried. Also, I haven't really tested wet grip to any extent. No comment on wear as I have only done 1500 miles so far.

Given 89% while driving a Subaru Impreza (195/60 R15 H) on a combination of roads for 3,000 average miles
Bought 2 of these to replace front axel tires (Michelin E3A) on an Impreza 2.0 GX and very happy so far. Good feedback with very good handling in both wet and dry. Quiet running and very comfortable. Jst waiting to see how long they last. Positive results so far, so wouldn't hesitate to fit these on rear axel when the time comes. Excellent value for money, as I normally only fit Michelin's.

Given 67% while driving a MG ZTT 135 diesel (225/45 R18 W) on mostly town for 15,000 easy going miles
quiet, comfort, on my MG ZT 135 cdti. but wears fast, only 15000mls/18000km.
these 225/45/18 tires are a good value for money. but perhaps i go to look for tires who last longer, (with the same comfort)

Given 81% while driving a Citroën C5 (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 2,000 average miles
Put these on my diesel citroen c5, they have a nice steering feel. A world away from the Federal 595 Taiwanese rubbish that I got the car with. Quiet and grip well rain or dry and not bad in the snow the last few weeks too. I will only buy euro tires again, its just not worth the risk with the stuff from China, Taiwan, Malaysia. They just don't have the technological know how like we do in the EU and all the proper tire tests always show this. Barum are Continentals value brand made in the Czech republic and like Skoda are much under-rated.
