Honda Civic Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Nexen N Blue 4 Season given 29% (215-55-16-)
Driving on mostly town for 0 average miles
I bought this tires because of the reviews, but stay away from this tires for winter, plus the gas consumption is horrible, loud noise and just not design for winter, I cant believe they have the 3 peak logo on them,

Writing about the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance given 71% (205-55-16-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 500 average miles
Hi:) bought these tires a month ago to replace Michelin primacy 4 plus will compare with them. Goodyear efficientgrip performance 1 compared to Michelin - so in my opinion on a dry road they hold better. Rolling Resistance are little better than Michelin. I like the feedback on the steering wheel and the braking distance on dry roads better on Goodyear. Goodyear they are more comfortable and fuel consumption is the same as on Michelin (no difference noticed). And now let's move to the disadvantages of these tires - on the wet road they hold worse and braking distance is worse than Michelin, they wear out a little faster but for their price they are normal (they are cheaper than Michelin). Let's move to the results for dry road for me Goodyear will be better, and for wet road it is better to take Michelin.

Writing about the Toyo Proxes CF2 given 83% (195-60-15-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 56 average miles
I've tried Firestone, Goodyear and Toyo so far. And these one's the better one. Excellent dry and wet grip with a very impressive handling and feedback. But what amazed me more was the tire wear. I've done 90k km on a lowered (with negative camber) car. And I still have some rubber left. Impressive. They gone up on price since I've bought them. No wonder... I bought 4 tires for 240 euros. Now it's 400. Still, I'm definitely gonna buy them again!

Writing about the Maxxis MA P5 Mecotra given 75% (195-60-15-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 600 average miles
In my opinion, this tire punches well above its weight. For a budget category, it offers excellent value for money. No.1 highlight: comfort. It has plushy drive feel, soft but surefooted, and it is surely the quietest tire I've ever had (even beating premium brands performance models). They're really super quiet. I put them through proper test in Asian mountains (after 800km ridden), which included descending long steep slopes on narrow road with tight corners in the middle of the storm. The grip was totally satisfying with zero sketchy moments, inspiring confidence. I had to remind myself again and again what the price of these is. The only setback is that the rolling resistance seems to be higher (as common with other Maxxis's, e.g. bicycle tires). But again, it's a budget tire, and I'm really impressed overall.

Writing about the Sailun Atrezzo Eco given 86% (185-70-14-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 500 spirited miles
Still too new to comment on wear, replaced all 4 Michelin Saver XM with Sailun Atrezzo Eco tires 500km ago, so far there is a noticeable reduction in road noise and these feel more comfortable to drive on. Best of all the price is very attractive compared to current Michelins

Writing about the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 given 80% (225-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 average miles
Fantastic in all aspects, truly transformed the feel of the car. But sadly after only 3 years all 4 of mine have cracked so badly I've had to replace them. I've got Asymmetric 6s on now and they're a worthy replacement, also fantastic in all metrics, but zero cracking from them so far.

Writing about the Bridgestone Turanza 6 given 93% (235-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 2 average miles
Really happy so far following replacing the Landsails 588 (i think) or 388.. can't remember. one of those. All four tires fitted in June 2023.

- Significant confidence in the wet, e.g. during a biblical downpour near the Swiss French border towards Basel, motorway had pretty bad standing water and tires seemingly dealt with it a lot better if compared to other slower moving vehicles. I felt safe, no aquaplaning events.
- Good dry grip, was great going down the winding mountain roads. I felt safe.
- Better in events of sudden braking, i was going to stop, and stop..
- Great comfort, was probably the car as well. but great combined effort.
- Fuel economy getting 50+mpg (i think) on the European motorways during its road trip. Met my expectations.
- From visual inspection after 2k miles since fitting in June very good wear, looking good as new, early days. Have all tires around 34psi.

Writing about the Falken FK452 given 30% (225-45-14-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 8000 average miles
I got presauded from a local tire shop/ dealer to get falken tires from 2 choices of previous tire manufacturers I’ve used before and rated them them highly.
I carefully drove/wore them in as advised but they were noisy from day one and still very noisy
I drive 21 miles to work each way daily. The first time I drove the car when wet after 2 weeks of dry weather, it was like driving on Marbles and lost grip at slightest excuse
Swooping the tires Front to Rear hasn’t helped.
I bought 4 so it was a set of the same make and I have got these tires for the duration. I don’t trust them. I hate them. I will not buy falken tires again

Writing about the Pirelli Powergy given 90% (225-50-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 2500 spirited miles
Changed to pirelli powergy from conti uc6. Tried to get pirelli p7c2 but it was out of stock and the dealer recommended these. Driven 2500km so far. Grip has increased a bit though that might be due to the tire being 10mm wider than the 215 uc6. Comfort is good, noise is low but steering feels a bit heavy. Grip in wet and dry both excellent. Low noise as well. Quiet at high speed (>130km/h) So far so good.

Put 38000km on a new set, and it needs replacement. Steering feedback is not the greatest. It does not track straight. Got wheel alignment when they were installed. Good snow and wet handling
