Top 3 Bridgestone Potenza RE11 Reviews

Given 81% while driving a Hyundai Avante (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 40,000 spirited miles
Awesome grip in the dry, almost surreal. Best tires I ever used. Previously used ContiSportContact 3 and Michelin PS3, simply no comparison to the sheer grip level of these RE11. Give you an extra set of balls to go faster in the next corner every time.

Wear is relatively good, already 40,000km on these. They are a tad noisy and have a very stiff sidewall, almost perfectly flat. Looks awesome if you ask me. Will definitely buy again.

Given 90% while driving a Mazda RX8 (245/40 R18) on a combination of roads for 18,000 average miles
Best tire. I've taken mountain road switchbacks with 25 mph signs at 50 mph and they won't break. I've literally had a friend as a passenger wet his jeans from the turns and acceleration out of curves. Even when they did break loose from the shift, they immediately gripped. No track time. Low hwy noise. 18k miles with tread left but I'm replacing them anyway. Going with a 255 size rear. Huge difference from others used.

Given 80% while driving a Alfa Romeo (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 10,000 spirited miles
I have these tires on my Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon. One time, I drove in the middle of a heavy rain storm with fallen leaves and all, through some twisty bits, it almost felt like I was driving in the dry.
Ever since then, I have complete confidence in these tires.
The grip is there from start, but road noise and wear is the trade off. They work better on a slightly heavier car. My friend's lighter Impreza WRX needs a little bit of "warming up".

Latest Bridgestone Potenza RE11 Reviews

Given 84% while driving a Alfa Romeo 75 or Milano Verde (US version) (205/50 R15) on mostly country roads for 175 spirited miles
PRIRACE.COM is all about testing and we did test this tire to its limits on the street. The pacific northwest is one of the best places to test anything street with its beautifully smooth roads that never seen to end along twisting rivers. The roads here rendor every scenario any track world wide has to offer even Laguna Seca's corkscrew, honestly. Our test vehicle was a nicely prepared (by PRI) Alfa Romeo 75 dedicated street V with light chassis tweeks. Nothing special just setup nicely with Koni reds, lowered at the rear just a bit (cut o.e. springs) and upgraded front brakes (cross drilled o.e. rotors, EBC green pads and S/S braided hoses) The 3.0L motor was gone through and messaged nicely by Chris Cancelli owner of PRI and elite engine builder/tuner. The engine makes an additional 45 hp bringing the 2700 lb. car to 225 at the flywheel @ 6000 rpm. This is just enough to keep your attention and your right foot a hankering to pivot forward, a lot! This rear wheel drive 4 door is a treat to drive for those of you who aren't familiar with this late eighties creation from Alfa Romeo. We drove this car to insane speeds out in the most remote areas and I must say the tires gripped exceptionally well when cold and extremely well when warmed but driven at track speeds consistantly for 15 to 20 minutes they got greasey creating a little more understeer than we wanted to experienceness with little to no run-off and thats why we gave it a progressive score of only 7. Now, we know we were well beyond the limits of what most sane people on a 'spirited Sunday drive" might pull off but the bad part was the air temp was only 74 degrees F. We gave the tire a 10 for dry grip because for the steet they are unbelievably sticky only when pressed for long periods did they grease up so unless you're shooting to be on one of those long police chases on the evening news these tires truly offer fenominal grip, quiet comfortable ride and work well in the wet too. Yes, we would buy again for the street but perhaps not so for track days, at least not with a car weighing over 2k.

Given 85% while driving a Renault Clio 182 Cup Pack (195/50 R15 V) on mostly town for 400 spirited miles
Outstanding grip in the dry (well above my old 205/45R16 Michelin Exalto PE2 which were only just over 1/2 worn.) Limited experience driving on wet roads with them so far, but when I have they have not put a foot wrong and I have pushed them a bit.
Very quiet inside the cabin and smooth riding. I have found they grip best at lower pressures (around 30psi front, 28 rear), higher and the car feels like it's squirming around more under load around corners?
I'm guessing they won't last long, but I don't drive this vehicle daily so don't care too much.
