Awful, awful tire - wears fast, poor grip in the dry and wet, noisy. Was told they were a Premium brand by a tire shop - I reckon he had a shed load to get rid of. Had to replace after just 10k, and was glad I did - felt I was taking my life in my hands every time I went out. The Tire place that took them off called them "ditch dwellers" - the sort of tire you find on a car upside-down in a ditch...

Take a good 200 miles or so to scrub in but once they have you get a good responsive tire which is very quiet running and smooth. Only downside is the tires have a slight bias to steer the car to the left. Even with tracking checked was told it will reduce as the tires wear to the car. All in all a very good quality tire made by Continental (all of the sidewall lettering is the same as my previous conti ecos) and excellent value at around £20 less then my previous contis per tire.

Horses for courses! These tires are very good all-round for small family cars like my Pug 206 and Clio. However, they do not work as well on larger cars or cars with inherently poor and overloaded suspension setup (such as Cit Xsara / Picasso). If you own a large family car I would suggest changing your rims to 15 inch and fitting Barum Bravuris 2 if you are still interested in good quality budget tires. I have Bravuris fitted on my Impreza and they are superb for budget tires.

good value... £189 for four fitted, ride appears to be quieter and steering feels firmer, looked round at several 'no name' makes but went for these because of the makers qualitity other range

Given 91% while driving a Nissan Note SE (185/65 R15 H) on mostly country roads for 2,000 spirited miles
Ive had a Nissan Note 1.6 for 2 years and average 20k pa (typically fast country roads and some motorway). Have gone from Continental Econtact3 to Kuhmo KH17 and have recently replaced the rears with Barum Brillantis 2s (2k done). Whilst I was happy with the Kuhmos I will definately be replacing the fronts with Barums when the time comes.
They are noticeably much quieter, and the rolling resistance seems improved. They seem to have sharpened the cornering (something I wasn't expecting given they are on the back). In appearance they seem more rigid than the Kuhmos and I suspect the Kuhmos are a softer compound (and therefore the Barums are likely to last longer). Grip is fine, and they deal with standing water better than the Kuhmos. Ive yet to find a problem in the wet but understand this may be an area to watch out for. Excellent value. Recommended.

I got 19,400 miles out of the front tires in 2 years, so I think that is pretty good from a so-called budget tire and will be replacing them now they are worn down to 2mm!

Very good tires. Very good price. Very low noise, very light steering. Very satisfied. I suggest these tires to everyone.

These tires were fitted on the front of the car when I bought it, and I was not overly impressed with them. Dry grip was ok, but nothing special. I wasn't concerned with outright grip or how the tire felt at the limit, as I very rarely pushed the car's abilities.
What did count was wet grip - and these failed. Had several occasions when the front drifted and slipped around at junctions and roundabouts, but the final nail in the coffin was when I had to swerve on a damp dual carriageway to avoid another driver - the tires gave intermittent grip and almost let go completely. On that basis alone, I decided enough was enough and swapped all corners for BF Goodrich.

Given 16% while driving a Citroën xsara picasso (185/65 R15) on a combination of roads for 10,000 average miles
This is, by far, the worst tire I have ever bought. I was swayed by an AutoTrader review, which compared it to premium brands. I don't know how they managed to find this tire anything other than atrocious. The fact is, I am scared to drive on this tire - the handling is uneven, the car is twitchy and nervous in the dry AND in the wet, the noise is horrendous, and they have worn by 70% in under 10,000 miles. I cannot wait to get rid of this tire. Do not buy!

Forget the hype of the 'premium' badges these tires are made by Continental and perform every bit as well. The difference in handling, noise and 'feel' of the car is incredible, even just after having them fitted. Highly recommended at a fraction of the cost.

a far better tire than the previous budget tires that where fitted (arrow speeds) The Burums give a lot more confidence in the wet and good feedback for the price . Brought through Tire Shopper with no problems. Can not score on wear as still to new.

I bought these tires a month ago. The were among the cheapest, but I saw they performed quite good in one of the big german tests (ADAC?). I was well surprised, they are silent and have a very good grip on dry and wet. I cannot judge the wear yet, but consumption-wise, I would say average. The Pirelli I had before were much more fuel-frugal, but noisy with poor grip. I feel safe on these. And for excellent price.
