Fiat Fiat Punto 1.9 JTD Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Tigar Winter 1 given 82% (175-65-14-)
Driving on mostly town for 20000 average miles
I had these tires for four years on Fiat Punto. They proved to be reliable, versatile and surprisingly long lasting. Probably they are underrated, but it is a Michelin technology tire manufactured in Europe. There are better tires, but not for this little money.

Driving on mostly motorways for 8000 average miles
The tires are very noisy, emitting a high pitch whizzing noise at speeds above 45mph. Also the wet grip is terrible, both during cornering and braking. Below 7° grip becomes even worse.

On the upside, they've barely worn thus far.

Driving on mostly motorways for 6000 easy going miles
These were original equipment on a Skoda Citigo and were replaced for all-season tires after 150 miles, then fitted to my Fiat along with a wheel alignment. Very nice tire, good grip in dry and wet conditions.

Only problem is: The front tires are worn beyond the wear indicators almost to the metal tread after 6000 miles have to be replaced. After three months mostly on the motorway. Avoid at all cost (even though they come cheap, being mounted on a variety of new cars).

Driving on a combination of roads for 25000 easy going miles
I had these tires for 25000 miles on my Fiat Punto, now I put on the back. They have still good tread. These tires are excellent on the dry, wet and I have driven them even on the snow and they made a very good work (They behaved as snow tires). When I purchased them 8almost two years ago they were more cheap than now. I suggest these tires even if I like to try different brand.

Very good tires. Very good price. Very low noise, very light steering. Very satisfied. I suggest these tires to everyone.
