I bought the car from new and found the manufacturers tires a little noisy and the steering rather heavy. After twelve thousand miles, and due to the tracking being a mile out from new, I changed them for a set of brillantis which were recommended by the fitter, National. They were on offer at the time and have since performed as good as any I have previously used. I occasionally spin the fron wheels from starting when I'm too heavy on the accelerator but otherwise no complaints. Road holding and steering improved out of all recorgnition after the change and the ride became very much quieter. Handling in the wet and on the recent snow and occasional icy patches gave no cause for corncern at all.
