CBR 600F4, from new came with Bridgestone tires so iv'e stuck with them, I'm not the fastest rider but when Iv'e needed them to do there job Iv'e never been let down. Even when I have had to go faster round a long right ( because of drifting to far over) hand bend the bike and tyers worked in pure harmony. I always make sure I get the same tire evening knowing that there may be better tires on the market now.

Kawasaki Z900r (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 2,000 spirited miles
I ride a kawasaki z900r and when I bought the bike it come with Dunlop Pro's on as standard and I gates them, a couple of my pals said try the bt016 tires and I did, am on my 3rd pair now, my bike gets its throat ringed every time I go out and I throw it round corners and these tires have never let me down. They gave been discontinued now but you can still get them, I will be trying a new tire next time but have never had any issues with the bt016 but I don't ride in the wet so can't honestly comment in that area.

Bike came with these on. I high-sided going round a slight bend and 100% blame these tires. If your using them be very careful in the rain. Shocking tire.

Given 43% while driving a Suzuki GSXR750 L8 (180/55 R17) on a combination of roads for 4,000 spirited miles
I have this on my GSXR750 and I'm going to replace them after I lost traction and low sided on a low speed turn.

I didn't notice any issues in summer, but as soon as the colder months came, the weakness shows. I have no confidence with this tire in wet and/or cold weather. It lacks grip on the sides and I'd say it's dangerous.

Given 53% while driving a Honda CB400SF (160/60 R17 W) on mostly town for 1,000 easy going miles
I live in Singapore, a country with a tropical climate and high humidity, and lots of torrential rains. It is a very small island-like country that mostly communes about 30km at a stretch and rarely above 40km in one go. My bike only weighs about 200+kg. Climate usually above 30-degree Celcius all year round. My average speed in the expressways usually around 80km/h to 100km/h. I would say this is a good dry grip tire. The sense of confidence to ride this in dry conditions is high. Tire seems to warm up fast in the dry weather, especially when riding in the mid-afternoon under the scorching equator sun, it feels really sticky. But Michelin Pilot Power 2CT is still a better dry weather tire when compared to these in my opinion. During wet weather, tire performance is still acceptable, and traction is not excellent but still feels safe. But I would still opt for Michelin Road 5 as my prefered rain tires.

Given 40% while driving a Suzuki Gsxr750 L5 (180/55 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 3,000 spirited miles
Really not suitable for British weather. Lack any feel and are awful in the wet. Okay on track

Given 86% while driving a Suzuki k4 600 k9 750 (180/55 R17) on mostly country roads for 2,600 spirited miles
I ride a Gixxer 750 K9 which I have had from new, and stuck with the Battlax BT016R's as they have never let me down. True, it means I cannot comare them to other tires, but I have run Pirelli Cors'a before on a K3750, and they were a great tire at that time.
Dry weather and I have a 100% confidence in them, and have blatted them around quite a few tracks, and they are more than good enough for me, and I am reasonably quick and have no chicken lines. Wet weather, and I am not that brave, but again, they have not let me down unless I have maybe asked a bit too much.
The comments on the wear factor, I do agree, but when I look at the cost and what I get back, it is money well spent.
So will stick with them, and although no doubt Bridgestone and Suzuki have a mutual trading relationship, if Suzuki think they are right for the bike after shed loads of testing, that is cool with me.

GMC Honda cbr900 1997 (180/55 R17) on a combination of roads for 100 spirited miles
Previously had metzeler M3 spite on my 97 blade and thought they were brilliant,my front wheel is still original 16" so limited for choice, after purchasing a set of BT016 and fitting them a took the bike out on not a hot or warm day to try them, after less than a mile a was getting feedback from the tires to say yes you can drop in to the corner how i wanted, being cautious i never but waited about another 3 miles the on a roundabout dropped my knee to the floor no problem..10 out of 10 for these tires,so purchased another set as they were £124 for the pair from hunters Newcastle 👍👍👍

The bike came shod with these from the dealer..... 1800 miles in and a horizontal crack has appeared, delamination. Really annoyed by this, back to Michelin for me!!!

These came fitted to my Triumph street triple. These tires in my opinion are just not suited to British roads or the British weather.
On a hot summers days they would give good levels of grip.
But in the rain they were borderline dangerous and gave very little feed back.
They lasted for about 4000 miles but we're past their best by 3000.

Given 63% while driving a Kawasaki ZX10r (190/50 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 2,800 spirited miles
I've a 2014 ZX10R, it came shod with the BT016's and I was keen to compare these to the Conti Sport Attacks and the Michy PR2's and PR3's I'd had on previous bikes. I've had no real problems with grip in the dry, front washed out in bad rain but I was hitting a Roundabout fairly spritely and to be fair there could have been a bit of oil or diesel etc, etc. My only gripe is after 2.8K miles the rear is now in need of replacing. Pushing the tire to get 3K miles isn't what I call economical. Back to Michelin I think.

Given 35% while driving a Suzuki gsxr 750 yshimuri 2014 (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 700 spirited miles
on a brand new gsxr 750 imposible to predict grip tire in the dry is average at best steps out and surges through progresion. lowered presure in both felt a bit better still worrying on fast approach on road bends. there is no consistancy in the rear at all.damp or wet go home embaresingly slow to save the bike.but to be fair was happy enough with front after deflating by 2lbs. in my opinion these tires should be recalls

Given 77% while driving a Honda CB919 Hornet (120/70 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 1,600 spirited miles
I've made 8000 km, at least 2500 on winding roads and my opinion is that they are very nice tires.
Pros: fluid bend in motion, and apparently good in changing the direction.
Central part is very tough and lasts a lot!!
Cons: the front tire wears out much more than the rear one. The
consumption ratio especially on the lateral part is 2 to 1. The
lateral part of the rear tire is quite good.

Given 40% while driving a Honda CB 1,000R Motorbike (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 3,000 average miles
I have used these on the track on a cold, but sunny October day and they were producing enough grip to get my knee down. Generally in warm, dry conditions they will suit most road riding. However it's not to say I haven't had them slip even on a good day. But, if you fancy scaring yourself ringing, just add water, and not a lot; a terrible tire in the rain and even damp conditions. Slips when accelerating even when upright, requiring progressive acceleration and cornering just stops being fun! I wouldn't look to purchase these.

Given 60% while driving a Yamaha R1 (190/55 R17) on a combination of roads for 9,000 spirited miles
My R1 gets used for all sorts but mostly spirited riding and the 016 does a good job in hot dry weather however I live in the UK where hot days are few and far between ... Wet grip is ok for the first 3rd of the tire use but after that it is shocking "bambi on ice" is an oft used term but is fitting. Even at sensible wet speed on the motor way confidence in the front and rear is lacking and its a delight to get off the bike for all the wrong reasons.

Wear is about right (~3000miles per rear) for a tire this sporty but a few motorway trips = sqauring off which is alarming and this is a tire that generates a nervous rear shortly after.
