Bridgestone Potenza RE040 Reviews - Page 4

Given 81% while driving a Nissan 350z (225/45 R18 W) on mostly country roads for 1,500 average miles
These are the OEM tires on the 350z and overall aren't that bad. They've lasted ages, slide beautifully and gracefully and give you loads of feedback.

Wet weather performance leaves a lot to be desired but they're still very progressive

Given 59% while driving a Toyota MK2 MR2 NA (225/45 R15 W) on mostly country roads for 10,000 spirited miles
These tires came with my MR2 when I bought it. Were ok in the dry, pretty slippy in the wet.

Didn't care slide the car on them but that was probably the cars fault

Given 53% while driving a Honda Civic Type R (205/45 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 6,500 spirited miles
I'd not buy these again. They lasted all of about 6500miles on the front, though the CTR does like to eat it's tires.

Appalling in the wet, just understeered.

The only plus from this tire is the fantastic feedback due to the stiff sidewalls, makes the car very pointy which is nice.
