I bought these based on the good reviews and apparent suitability to a small SUV. Initial impressions were very good, but then one compares directly to dangerously old no-name tires. Good traction, very good lateral stability cornering, reasonable wet weather grip. We ran these on our old Honda CRV, which spends its time mostly on sand/gravel country roads. Maybe a third of their lifespan spent on asphalt. Spectacularly disappointing wear. After less than two years and 9000 miles they are on/over the legal limit.
They were never run hot during summer, so the abrasion of the road surface (compacted sand and grit)is the only factor in this very poor performance.
