Good tires in my opinion. Grip better than my Goodyears. Not too bad on snow either. Road noise is kept to a minimuim. Would buy again.

tried these tires on audi A4 covering 10k in 10 months and they only have about another 2k left they have worn much quicker than i thought. very poor in the snow and ice especially when tread is worn. will not be buying these again.

Compared to the premium brands this has been a very good tire for the money so far.

Very noisey when worn, particularly on the rear, otherwise would have bee good.

Generally a good comfortable tire. Road noise is average. Wear rate is much higher than expected. Poor wet grip, with a tendency to aquaplane when part worn at motorway speeds. Very poor snow and ice grip.

I've been disappointed with these tires, I chose to buy a cheaper brand of tires than usual, and will be buying a premium brand again after trying these.

They wore down about twice as fast as my previous Michelin Pilot Sports so I didn't save any money buy buying a cheaper tire.

I wasn't impressed with the grip in the wet and do not trust these tires at all in the snow, especially once they are part worn.

very not impressed with these after all the good reviews , i can say for the price they are fine and if your used to no name tires they are a big improvement but cannont even approach the grip from the bigger name brands such as michelin, pirelli, continental and goodyear and not good at all in the wet

The best thing I found with these tires is that the wear rate is excellent. The rear tires had 7mm of tread left after 9000 miles and the fronts were about 50% worn after doing the same mileage.

The dry grip is not as good as either the ContiSportContact 2 or 3's or the Toyo Proxes T1-R's I've had on the car. The wet grip is better than the Toyos but nowhere as good as the Conti's.

When the temperature drops below 7 degrees or so these tires do not engender much confidence due to their relatively hard ride. Damp roads (at any temperature), also caused some grip problems at times.

Whilst they're a cheap alternative to set on Conti's (at ?60 per corner fitted, compared with ?120 for the Conti's), I would advise spending the extra money as the Conti's transformed the handling of my car significantly compared to what the FK452's (and the T1-R's), could offer.

I have found these very good tires for grip in the dry and in the wet. Not a chance on the snow though. I have found them not to be very comfortable but I am willing to make that sacrifice to ensure I stick to the road. I would definately recommend them to other road users as a cheaper alternative to an expensive premium tire. These give very similar levels of grip to contisport,toyo r1's and goodyear f1's.

Replaced standard fit Bridgestone RE050s with a pair of these on my Nissan 350Z. The Falkens provide more grip in the dry and an unbelievable amount more in the wet. They are more predictable on the limit of traction and give the same amount of feedback as the Bridgestones. So far the wear rate doesn't seem to be a worry either. So in summary, more dry grip, FAR more wet grip, less understeer, more predicatable, good levels of feedback. Oh yes and about 30% cheap than OEM fit Bridgestones. A real no brainer!

This was a superb choice at the time when I gave it a glowing review but the soft sidewalls caused allot of edge ware and unwanted roll on my bigger heavier car with more suspension travel. For UK road use The Falken ZE912 is an all round better tire than the FK452. Uniroyal Rainsport 2 can be had for a similar price for sports cars making the FK452 redundant.

First 500 miles in cold and wet conditions were dreadful. Tires slowly came to life after that, but were never as good as the mixed Conti/Kuhmo on the Astra 2.2 SRi when purchased - I simply don't have the same confidence in the handling and stopping distance of the car. In the wet, they're still nasty. The fronts have worn out in 16,000 miles of mellow town and country driving, rears still have 5 mm. Surprisingly okay in snow last winter, but I was being very careful, as I know that the Astra's T/C bites back in bad winter weather! On the plus side, they're very quiet. Going for the Uniroyal Rainsport 2 in search of better grip.
