Put a pair of these tires on the front of my car some 11,000 miles ago. I do not drive the car 'hard', and they have about 3,000 miles left in them, but they have been good, solid tires and I would buy then again if they had not increased in price by almost £50 in just 13 months

Still ace value for money, nothing comes close for bang for ur buck.At 163 a pair nothing comes close. If you drive like the Stig, then maybe you need something else, for mere mortals looking for a good value, good all round tire that does what it says on the tin, dont bother looking elsewhere as its all marketing bollocks.I hare up the motorway at three figure speeds and dont get passed too often,so dont think i aint driving hard enough.
I keep on buying them coz their good.
This is my third year of buying these tires.

Given 87% while driving a Vauxhall Astra 1.7 CDTI (225/40 R18 W) on mostly country roads for 15,000 spirited miles
Replaced OEM Dunlop SP SPORT 01's with these on a VX Astra XP.
Compared to the Dunlop's, they grip as well if not better in the dry, MUCH better in the wet and are much more progressive towards the limit, whereas the Dunlop's just let go without warning. (much safer) They have a fantastic wear rating and have coped with 16k of pretty hard driving before wearing out, and only seen loss of grip right towards the end of their life. They gave me a much improved MPG, are much quieter and more comfortable on Motorway driving.
I would wholly recommend these, especially for a normal driven sport hatch type car.
I am, however, looking to try some (sadly much more expensive) Goodyears because the side-walls seem to be rather soft, so causing more rim damage and a fair bit of roll compared to the Dunlop's, which really does not suit my driving style or the set up of the car (which is a shame, otherwise these would be a 'holy grail' of a tire! Especially for the fitted price!)

I have a feeling I am going to miss them though...

Given 93% while driving a Audi A4 2.0 TDi 170 S Line (235/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 7,000 average miles
I currently have these on the rear and I have now done 7k, at the time of fitting these my budget was a bit tight so after mulling around on this site for ages I decided to go for them. They were £100 including delivery and fitting and the tread pattern is decent too. They do have some rim protection which is a bonus and the sidewalls are not too soft either and also being an all season tire I could not complain.

I did try a set of Ze512 on my old Lexus IS 200 a few years back and they were shot at 10k of gentle driving, and had 2 tire had bulges in them on the inside which was very dangerous, and it was only when I took it for a MOT did I realise. So I decided I would not be buying Falken again and would rather have a bin liner around my alloys.

Going back to the ZE912, 7K and they are down to 7mm (8mm when new) and I run them on 35 PSI as I felt they were a little wobbly at 32 PSI. Motorway cruising is pleasant and they feel good and absorb the occasional bumps well. Dry grip is excellent considering they are £100 per corner and in the wet I have had no issues they seem to clear standing water really well and are good in the bends and offer good levels of grip, and the tires let you know when they are about to let go. Some rare blasts of 130 mph and they feel stable and solid also.

So overall an excellent tire for the price now Michelin PS2 (which I rate highly) are around £180 fitted for my car for the extra £80 what do I get? slightly better dry grip and the wet grip I would say is about the same. So the difference in performance is not worth the extra money IMHO.

Would I buy again, a definate yes but i seem to love treying out different brands should my budget and mood allow : )

Excellent tires for the money, £240 fitted all round. Grip is very good (wet or dry), and when they have let go (they won't on a public road unless you are driving like a tool!), it is progressive. 6k spirited miles, and they are still 6mm Front and 7mm Rear. Quiet on motorway, great feedback through steering.

Great VFM, I would recommend them to anyone.

Given 93% while driving a Volvo S80 T6 (225/50 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 4,000 spirited miles
Bought these tires after much deliberation, mainly because I wanted tires that were very quiet, in addition to performing well. 4000+ miles later and I am not disappointed with my choice. These tires are fantastic. More so, when you consider the price in comparison to competitors.

They grip exceptionally well on wet and slippery roads. Dry grip is very good, but not as impressive as the grip on wet surfaces - unless you brake hard, in which case they cannot be faulted. Quiet as these tires are, you still feel the road and get first-rate feedback. The result is a sporty feel to the handling, despite the size of the car.

Recently did a nearly 3000-mile round trip journey, mainly on motorways and winding country roads, in heavy rain and sunshine. Was pleasantly surprised by, and very pleased with the petrol consumption on these tires. Still no sign of wear on them after the paces I've put them through so far, so I expect them to last for a good long while yet.

I would recommend these tires to anyone.

I have these on the rears now and I have touched over 1k and so far so good. They replaced Eagle F1A's and at first they felt a little wobbly and not very stable and i was getting mixed feelings from the rear of the car. From 32 PSI I put the tires up to 35 PSI and presto they felt good and solid.

The tire walls are softer then the F1A's but they levels of grip are fairly similar, not had the oportunity to test them in wet so far but these are all season and should be good.

I would rate these as a top end mid range tire and are excellent value for money, I love the tread pattern too.
