Falken ZIEX ZE310 EcoRun Reviews - Page 8

Given 85% while driving a Volkswagen Polo GTI (215/40 R17) on a combination of roads for 400 spirited miles
So, I was a bit sceptical about buying these as they are a fairly new tire to the market and couldn’t find many reviews on them. I went in anyway as they’re a fair amount cheaper than PS’s and the shocking Potenza’s that came on my car from the showroom. After a few hundred miles I can confirm that these tires are brilliant. Feedback is rather good, car felt a little numb to start with but I don’t know if that was just in my head. The levels of grip are decent in the dry and in damp conditions. I haven’t driven in properly wet conditions as of yet, so can’t comment on that. Neither can I comment on wear as they’re only a few hundred miles old.
Don’t hesitate to buy these over other more expensive tires. You won’t be disappointed.

Just had set fitted and hate them. Horribly noisy. Never had such noisy tires. Shall not buy again and wish that I could get them replaced.
Lots of feedback for Falken is from petrol heads running them on track days. This is not what the average road user wants. I had run Kumho for years and they are a good value, safe, durable, quiet and comfortable tire. Do not buy Falken.

Given 93% while driving a Fiat Stilo (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 0 spirited miles
Only had them fitted yesterday so cant comment on wear. Very quite tires and good in wet and dry. Drove through very heavy shower on motorway on way back from having them fitted no problem felt a lot better than the brand they replaced.

Given 90% while driving a (205/40 R17) on mostly motorways for 1,100 spirited miles
Had these on for over 1000 miles now. Feel much better than the pilot sport 3's that came on the car as standard. Cant comment on wet weather performance as we've had a hot dry summer so far, but compared to the Michelin's they feel a lot more planted in the corners as well as stable at speed, and theres less road noise in the cabin and they seem to be lasting well too, with hardly any wear so far.

Given 93% while driving a Citroën 1.0 petrol (205/45 R17 V) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
Very pleased with purchased replaces OEM Michelin's. They are much quieter, less thumping on bumpy surfaces. Handle as well in wet and dry and lots of feedback. Competitive price seals the deals. Wear rate to be decided only done 1,000 miles.

Given 92% while driving a Citroën C3 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 500 average miles
I purchased two new front Falken ZE310 Ecorun tires as my Bridgestone Potenza front tires were down to two millimetres and had lost grip. I have now travelled 500 miles in all weathers on the new tires and have been so impressed with the grip on both wet and dry roads. Also the "ride" seems much smoother and quieter, and on cornering, even on wet roads, the car holds a firm line and is very responsive to the steering. My first impressions are that this is an excellent tire at a very competitive price. I obviously cannot comment on wear in view of my low mileage(500mls) but as matters stand at present, I would definitely buy these tires again, because they are very impressive.

Given 97% while driving a Mercedes Benz E Class (215/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 300 average miles
Dry grip is excellent, wet grip also. Much better than my old set of Fulda Ecocontrol HP. What I observed from the beginning is the highest level of comfort that they provide. Lowest rolling noise I've ever heard. On bumpy roads, they provide a level of comfort very close to a winter tire. In the future, I am very curious about wear. I'll write another review sometimes in the future.

New silica and new model tire. I have bought them a few days ago.

Nice handling.

Cheaper than most other brands.
