Given 47% while driving a Mazda MX5 2.0 SE (ND 2015 onwards) (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
Mushy feeling and soft compound. Works on snow well, ice poses a challenge without studs, but I also have a red car with an open differential. Dry handling and feedback is terrible to be honest, dws06 have been used prior and offer amazing results, but snow performance isn’t as great, obviously

Given 93% while driving a Ford Escape (215/60 R17) on mostly country roads for 17,000 spirited miles
Being forced to buy directional snow tires now sucks, just getting that out of the way. I bought these for last winter to try out something different than the Sumitomo Ice Edge that I used for the previous 3 winters, with excellent results mind you. These Firestones are actually a better tire IMO. They seem to be wearing more even than the Ice Edge and are by far more quiet. I live on a huge hill, we get 280-330 inches of snow fall a year and I head for work before the plows clear my road and usually I am pushing snow with the bumper and even over the hood. This is a real world review, not a sissy city driving bitchfest about how a tire is noisy, real life chit here and I need a tire that works. Perfect tire for my extreme needs and will buy another set for sure.
