Given 76% while driving a Kia Motors Cerato Forte (215/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 30,000 average miles
I have them fitted as stock on my KIA Cerato. I have used for 2 years & covered 45k km. Grips are good in both dry & wet condition, but I found that they were noiser compared to my previous Toyota with Michelle energy XM1.
Wear are even, considered they were rotated once at 20k. They were used in hot & humid weather.
No choice, I have to change them even though they can last another 10-15k, due to 2 of them were punctured by nails this year.
This time round, I will be trying another kumho product, KU31. I have faith with kumho product as they provide value for money.

Given 86% while driving a SEAT Altea (205/55 R16) on mostly motorways for 17,000 average miles
Chose these over premium tires more or less as an experiment to see if the extra 20% or so you pay for premium brands works out. I drive around 35000 (mostly motorway) miles a year, and my priorities tend to be fuel economy and longevity (certainly since opting out of company car scheme). So far I've only had to replace front tires, and this is the 3rd set the car has seen in 97k miles. First set was Michelin energy savers - did circa 40k miles, second set, Pirelli P7, did another 40k Miles, this set has seen about 17k miles so far and are wearing well. Initially fuel economy was quite badly affected and I thought I'd made a mistake, but after 10k miles that seemed to settle down and now economy is actually somewhat improved over the Pirellis. I'm not a spirited driver generally, but when I have needed to test the grip I have found them to be much better than the Michelins and on a par with Pirellis in both wet and dry.
Assuming they continue to wear at a consistent rate, I estimate that this set will clear 35k miles comfortably, so all in all, given a fitted price of £65 each when compared to £85ish for the equivalent premiums, I'd say that this experiment is working out.

Given 21% while driving a Hyundai I10 (165/55 R14) on mostly town for 9,000 easy going miles
These tires are DANGROUS! - I purchased an i10 brand new fitted with these tires. After just 9000 miles they had worn through to the raylon cords (the steel had been worn through). Tracking had been checked when I had complained about poor handaling / poor fuel consumption etc.. when it was just a few months old.

Both front tires had worn on the inner most edge (as if the toe out was wildly out of spec), You could not see the potentialy fatal problem unless you layed in in front of the car and looked from under it! The tire Technician who replaced them (after he stopped laughing) said that the tires had gone out of shape due to the fact they were just "rubish" Tires and said I was unbelievably lucky that I hadnt had a blow out! the car is driven by my wife and doesnt get thrashed (the 1.2 engine couldnt pull the skin off of a rice pudding anyway).

Since changing them, handaling has vastly improved and after aproximately 10,000 more miles the replacements still have 5mm left on them and are wearing evenly across the tread. Fuel consumption has also greatly improved!

I cant believe Hyundai would fit such bad tires on a new Car - what else have they economised on?

Given 83% while driving a Hyundai i20 (185/60 R15) on a combination of roads for 50,000 average miles
standard equipment on my hyundai i20 1400cc 100 hp. I ve run 50.000 kilometers and they look like they can take at least 20.000 Km more. Very good solution if you dont love race type driving on roads with many s. A pleasant surprise in highway ..... Quite good in the wet . An excellent , safe and cheap solution for normal driving.

Given 84% while driving a Hyundai i30 CRDi (205/55 R16 H) on a combination of roads for 38,000 average miles
Kumho KH17 came as standard on my 2008 i30 Diesel and they do everything I ask of them. I am rarely aware of the traction etc. control cutting in, even when I occasionally drive in a spirited manner in the wet. Ride comfort and roadholding are good, road noise low and occasional harsh braking in the wet has not given any tense moments. I achieved approx. 18k from the front (2+mm left) and I would estimate 33k plus from the rear-very similar to mileages with previous cars/tires. I have replaced them with the same Kumho Tires at a good price.

Given 86% while driving a Ford Falcon xr6 (235/60 R15) on a combination of roads for 15,000 average miles
Give me a break, The Kumho KH Series of Tires are a winner for NZ road conditions. I've read the reviews, what a load of crap. Most of you winers are driving "Front Wheel drive Cars" and the Hyundai late model vehicles seem too precious to handle a fantastic tire. I got full traction on a wet road making a right turn from a standing start planting the boot in a falcon ute with and empty tray with no tail sway...if that isn't good traction in the wet then nothing is. These are made of good rubber, get a wheel alignment to reduce wear and while good value are a performance tire in my view....would definitely repeat the purchase.

Given 71% while driving a Chevrolet Cruze 1.8A (205/60 R16) on mostly motorways for 20,000 average miles
Car was initially fitted with this model which gave me some apprehensions. However after clocking more than 60,000km with these tires, over 80% long distances and balance city driving, I must say this is a pretty good set of tires. Very lasting, good grips in both dry and wet conditions, and pretty quiet. I am impressed!

The grip is rather poor on dry road and not much better on wet.

Given 41% while driving a Hyundai I10 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 5,000 average miles
I have done 5000 miles in a brand new Hyundai i 10 and my tires are down to the bone. Bridgend Hyundai have said it is just wear and tear. I have to buy 2 new ones and the others will be sent away and maybe I will get a few pounds to the other 2. I will not be buying them again.
