Landsail LS588 UHP Reviews - Page 6

Given 92% while driving a BMW 320d touring (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 1,000 spirited miles
After reading these positive reviews i gave landsail a chance on my rear wheel drive remapped bmw(rear axle). I must say honestly that they are briliant! Finaly got confident back after previously tried other cheap tires which was dangerous especialy on wet road! 588's are "glued" to wet roads, no more unwanted roundabout drifts 😉! And they ar e much cheaper than premium brands with the same performance.

Got them on Friday and been driving in dry and wet. So quiet, very good handling tire. Some people who market them down clealry don't know about tires. I've had all the brands and let me say this - better than Hankook which are considerably more expensive Too much snobery and not a lot of management by fact. Done c200 miles and will come back with another review later. Will they last 20,000 miles - possibly not. But for the price and quality - great. If they last me 18 months I'll be well chuffed. They are being fitted on new cars now. Watch the video on-line. Factory is awesome.

Given 45% while driving a Audi A5 (255/35 R19) on mostly country roads for 10,000 average miles
Whilst the tires perform adequately, all four tires showing severe cracking which I would certainly not expect from 2 year old tires. Landsail advised me to contact dealer in the first instance but they were no help, so contacted Landsail for a second time but this time I had no response. Very poor customer service and for this reason would certainly not recommend or buy again.

The tires themselves are reasonable (apart from the cracking issue) though fairly noisy and lose grip in the wet quite easily

Given 58% while driving a BMW 520i (225/50 R17) on mostly town for 22,000 average miles
My car is BMW 520i 2002 model.I bought new tires production date 2015 and installed in 2015 Marchl.I had no issues with handling and speed up to 220 km/h.Tire rubber quality is OK.Dry and wet grips are OK.Noise rating and comfort is OK.My main concern is just defelction of all 4 tires treads after 30 000 km mileage.Car started vibrating at low speeds like riding a horse but not a car.I replaced all 4 tires with Dunlop Winter Sport 4D and vibrating issue has gone.I generally drive on asphalt roads(City,Highways) and driving style is average, with escaping any potholes on asphalt. Who needs economy tires and ready for replacing with new tires after 30 000 km can purchase this tire.

Given 94% while driving a SEAT Ibiza 1.6cr TDi (215/45 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 15,000 average miles
Had a pair of these on the rear axle for just over a year and covered 15000 miles I tow a caravan and a trailer so they have had abit of work to do! On inspection last week they still have 6.5mm of tread so wear seems very good, they are quiet and grip in all conditions. Having always stayed clear of "cheap" rubber I can honestly say that these are as good as the Goodyears they replaced and at half the cost are in my opinion an absolute bargain! I have just put a pair on the front axle so hope for same results.

Given 59% while driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee (265/50 R20) on a combination of roads for 13,000 average miles
Recommended by my local retailer as a good value budget tire for my vehicle. First 5000 miles, good, fairly quiet, and no problems. After this, despite running rear pressures a just above cold tire minimum limit, started to see serious wear down middle section of tire. Got progressively worse to 10,000 miles, and now the rears need replacing after just 13000 miles as they have 2mm in the middle, and 4mm on edges. In last month, the fronts have started to hum and send small vibration through steering wheel, and dealership says outside tread blocks are starting to step, even though still over 4mm on tire. With a tirewear rating of 500, was expecting these tires to last 30000 miles+, but clearly they can't handle the weight of the vehicle. At a loss as to what to put on next, as I hear different stories about tires from different dealers, but it certainly wont be these. Even at £80 each, they are not good value based on the mileage you get from them.

Given 78% while driving a Audi S4 (245/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 1 spirited miles
I had these fitted to my 2011 Audi S4.I was having a few monetary issues so had to go with a lesser brand as i needed new rubber.
My car is highly tuned & over 500HP/440FtLb.
Initially I was a little worried as they felt very soft & didn't respond well to steering.I then added 10% more air pressure than I would usually use & it transformed the steering response & general feel of the tire/car.
They are a quite amazing tire for the crazily small rice you pay for them.Great in wet & dry with ridiculously good braking ability.they are more than capable of keeping the power of my S4 under control (something I was quite pleasantly surprised with)
If yu have these & are not impressed i would suggest upping the pressures to rectify the soft feeling of them

not one to write reviews but thought I should for these tires ive just changed all four Dunlop's that came with the car to these landsail tires and they are so quiet ive driven cars for 30 years and these really stand out with hardly any tire noise and less harsh ride than any ive had before this maybe because there softer rubber not sure how long they will last but I'm well impressed with these budget tires.

Given 63% while driving a Audi Audi A6 Avant 3.0 TDI Quattro (255/40 R19 W) on mostly motorways for 1,000 spirited miles
I drove on Pirelli Pzero before. The Landsails are definitely more comfortable and quieter but the handling and grip is worse. For the money they are really good BUT.

I have an annoying vibration from my rear tires. I have had the tires rebalanced twice but the vibration persist! It's incredibly annoying due to pore quality. The rims are Audi oems and didnt vibrate at all with the Pirellis.

Given 94% while driving a Volvo s40 (235/45 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 10 spirited miles
I bought these tires two months ago. I use them on a 2.4-liter engine. 220 hp. I've already driven 10,000 kilometers. And I am very satisfied with them. Grip is very good on almost all road types. Fairly good accuracy to a sporty driving style. Very good braking response.
Comfort. The tires are silent. And behaves well in curves, on the road with unevenness, but also on Autobahn 200+ km / h
A very good quality-price ratio.
They are far beyond expectations.

Given 91% while driving a Ford Galaxy (225/50 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 12,000 average miles
As good as the continentals that were on from new.
Just had a service - the front tires had done 12000 miles, new they have a 7 ml trye depth, the service checked the tires and they had 5 ml left, so they should last better than the continental s.
Fitted in my ford galaxy.
A great tire.
