I had these fitted in preparation for winter on the front replacing a mix of premium, but worn tires. To honest it has been really hard to notice the difference, maybe slightly stiffer and harder ride and slightly increased noise. Little feedback in steering, to again to honest it wasn't particularly there to begin with, all this is more to do with the car car than the tires. AS for the tires I've no complaints, in fact for the price nothing but praise: They brake wet or dry in a totally predictable manner never breaking away or causing the steering to twitch as I have known in the past under heavy breaking. Brilliant in the wet as in the dry for grip, my car is simply unable to overwhelm them remaining predictable and stable giving me total confidence, occasionally the esp will chip in without a hint of letting go. They cope with a muddy field on an incline perfectly well. They do everything I ask of them without any drama though real icy conditions and snow have yet to arrive I see no reason to think that they will be brilliant there as well.
Perfectly suited to the car, they lack the feedback and precision more focused summer tires might be expected to give, ( but to be honest to make use of that I'd need much more power and stiffer suspension) but as all season tires they are brilliant and I wouldn't be without them.

After 10 000km, about 1mm wear (20%) for 75% highway, 25% mountain roads dynamic driving. With High temperatures (40degrees C) the tire feels composed. Only weaknesses are hard braking (ABS tends to engage sooner) and large turns at high speeds. Otherwise all good! No rubber delamination compared to a crossclimate I previously had (which needed a much more relaxed driving)

Put on the car as a replacement for Goodyear Vector 4S at the recommendation of our trusted tire fitter. Decent mid-range tires.
Grip well in the dry with good feedback from the road. Handles wet weather pretty well too, no sliding in corners and no wheelspin off the line.
During the recent cold snap, they have performed brilliantly. Coupled with the 2008's Grip Control snow and ice have been no problem, particularly our steep hill out of the estate. The car has gripped well and hauled us out on to a treated road.
Overall I've been quite impressed with these tires, even though the design is getting on a bit.

I bought a full set of Maxxis Premitra AP3 tires to replace the old, worn Nexen summer tires that came with the car. The improvement was immediate, with better grip and control, and even the sound of the tires is more appealing. I wouldn’t say they’re quieter, but they do have a more pleasant, lower tone. The water-dispersing ability is vastly superior—where the Nexens made it feel like I was braking every time I drove through a deeper puddle, the Maxxis tires just glide through without losing speed.

As I’m driving a small, light car at reasonable speeds on narrow country roads, I can’t speak for how boy racers might feel about this product. But for the miserable, wet weather of this Irish summer, I find them perfectly adequate.

Good tires with a long life as long as not pushed to the limits they have ample grip for all surfaces. I'm on my second set in five years after getting around 30,000 miles out of the first set

Very good tire. Mainly used on mountain roads (temp 0-20 degrees) and it is stable both on tight and large turns. Ice and snow grip is more than enough. Side blocks don’t deteriorate like it does on crossclimate when driving dynamically. I used to have bridgestone potenza re050 runflat which were slightly more stable at high speeds but maxxis are better in tight turns. Main difference is sidewall stiffness: maxxis are more confortable but a little more vague in my size. To be confirmed with more kilometers and higher temperatures...

Excellent ride comfort over previous model. Great value and good warranty.
