Top 3 Metzeler Sportec M9 RR Reviews

Given 91% while driving a (180/55 R17) on mostly country roads for 3,800 spirited miles
Run these on a KTM 890R - to be honest, they stand up far better on wet weather than you'd think. I've done 2-up, touring, trackdays & fast road miles - I love these tires. Very confidence inspiring & they actually wear pretty well too. I've done 3.8k miles on the pair - rear needs changing desperately as it's bald in the middle, but the front is about half worn. No hesitation to put another M9RR on.

I've been doing mostly sporty riding on a harsh suspension. The performance on the Metzeler M9RR supprised me positively. Great feel with controled sliding limit, while riding extreme. Superb turn in angle, even with 190/50 dimensions. The only gripe I would have, would be, that in the final stages of it's use, tire behaves differently. Otherwise comfidence inspiring and would highly recommend.

the tire in cold morning in winter its wants time to warm up. Before i use this tires i had the Brigestone s21 . The Brigestone warm up very fast in the cold weather. I am generally happy with this tire.

Latest Metzeler Sportec M9 RR Reviews

Given 94% while driving a Yamaha MT 01 (2005) (190/55 R17) on a combination of roads for 600 spirited miles
I drive the M9RR on a Yamaha MT 01, it is very safe and comfortable to drive with a leisurely as well as a sporty driving style. The handling is outstanding and the moped tends to scrape the ground rather than lose grip. The soft flank struggles a bit with the torque, so you quickly leave a black mark on the road. Therefore a highly recommended tire

Yamaha MT 07 (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 0 spirited miles
Due to covid and delivery and an overdueMOT (TÜV here in Germany) I really didn’t have much choice in tires - read good reviews and so let the dealer (also the metzler local retailer) fit them for the MOT Instantly changed the character of the MT07 from a flickable loon bouncing in corners due to soft suspension to a squirmy unsure slidey thing that won’t hold a corner and is hard as a rock. It now falls into corners as opposed to rolling predictably. Update: when fully warm they behave better but the linear fall in to a corner is horrendous it’s like the head bearings are too loose. Perhaps on a heavier bike but I would advise against these on an MT07 way too hard n heavy.

The grip is great on dry and very good on wet. Tire gets up to temperature very fast, and provide the needed grip in any weather and road conditions. Also the slides are very controllable. I have upgraded from the old m5 interact and the difference is radical.
