Good all rounders, not the best at anything but not the worst either. Reasonably flexible so some squirming about in the twisties and a bit too eager to lock up in the wet under heavy braking for my liking but not a bad tire at all. Wear is pretty bad, Been on less than 6000 miles and down to 2mm, a little bit worse than other similar tires (Rainsport 3 for example).

Given 73% while driving a Renault Megane R26 (235/40 R18) on mostly town for 2,000 miles
Overall a good tire. Wet and dry very confident but in the tight stuff on the limit produce bad understeer which lets the tire down in my opinion.

(195/50 R15) on a combination of roads for 6,000 spirited miles
I cannot fault them in the wet. I can throw it into corners like a lunatic and it sticks like glue. In the dry, once they have warmed up, fantastic. Holds on hard, and let's you know she's gonna let go a good bit of bravery before she does. Love them! Little bit noisy, but pretty good, tread wear has been outstanding. 1mm of tread gone in about 4k miles of hard driving.

Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Given 71% while driving a Ford Fiesta mk7 (195/50 R15) on a combination of roads for 14 spirited miles
Good in wet, unsatisfactory in dry (good straight line hold but mega slip at start, no possibility to turn&accelerate at the same time at all)

Given 70% while driving a Audi A6 Avant 2.7T Quattro (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 3,000 average miles
I have an Audi A6 Avant Quattro, and these tires seem to wear fairly quickly compared to my previous experience of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asym.2. For a premium tire, there is quite a lot of road noise from them, but grip is very good in all conditions. However, when it comes to the next replacement set, I will be going back to the Goodyear's as they are £25 a corner cheaper, quieter, better fuel economy and last much longer than PS3's. For anyone with Quattro / 4WD you need to ensure you have the same on each corner / front and back to ensure the best overall handling, plus a proper 4-wheel alignment.

Given 73% while driving a Mazda 3 Series (205/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 0 spirited miles
Coming from Bridgestonet turanza, I needed and found more wet tracktion. Also much more grip in both wet and dry. These tires just claw into corners and roundabouts. Amazing andere fun. Unfortunatelly I miss the precise steering and wear is high when you have fun.

Given 76% while driving a Honda Civic Type S (225/40 R18) on mostly motorways for 15,000 average miles
I had these tires for 2,5 years and 25000 km. The perfomance is really good both on wet and dry conditions. I mostly drove the tires on motorways and a bit on city traffic conditions. The wear was high and in fact the sidewall of the front tire was torn so I have to replace them now. I would only suggest this tire only on driver who do a few km per year.

Given 76% while driving a BMW 1 series (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
I had PS3 runflats fitted recently to replace the oem Bridgestone potenza runflats which came factory fitted to my BMW m135i. What a difference!!! I'd heard that the Bridgestones were awful, but I cannot believe how much better the car is in all respects with the ps3s. I'd assumed that the poor steering/ride quality/grip/handling/feedback were due to it being my first experience with runflats. It really does feel like a completely different car now and I'm just so sorry that I didn't replace them two years ago. I'm really struggling to understand how BMW, who I've always respected, could ever have fitted these awful BRIDGESTONE POTENZA runflats to even a lawnmower. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Given 80% while driving a Audi A5 (245/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 26,000 average miles
After visiting this site and looking at all the reviews at the time, I decided to play it safe and get Michelin PS3's fitted.

To start, the grip and feed back from the tire to the wheel is superb, especially if you are like me and enjoy occasionally putting your foot down when you find an appealing road.

What surprised me was that this superb feedback remains throughout the life of the tire.

Another surprise to me was the life of the tire, given that I have just changed them with 3mm of tire left, after 26,000 miles, 15,000 miles on the Motorway and the rest on a combination of road surfaces.

Now the downsides...

The tire noise to start with was fine, but increased with tire wear, however I must say that I hadn't noticed this until I changed my tires recently.

What I did notice though was that as my tire wear increased, the tire grip in the wet fell off significantly, so I am glad that the feedback was superb because under hard braking it started to lose grip.

I hope this helps for anyone who has a similar powered AWD car.

The PS3's were factory fitted from new. After 12,000 miles the fronts still have over 5mm of tread left and the rears over 6. This from a combination of local short and long European journeys and everything else in between.
