Neuton NT8000 Reviews - Page 3

Given 93% while driving a Ford Mondeo (235/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 spirited miles
Ok I have just taken 4 worn Goodyear eagle f1 tires of my 2008 ford mondeo and replaced them with 4 NT8000 they cost me £305 delivered + £20 to fit and balance them then a further £20 on tracking, and have to say I am mighty impressed with these tires, I can't comment at all on the wear as I have only covered a 1000 miles on them, but they are better then the goodyears I took off, better wet handling and better comfort,I have just traveled from Doncaster to Southampton in rain that is the worst I have driven in and the surface water on the motorway was substantial but the tires never aquaplaned much at all and felt sure footed all the way.
I do hope they last the distance as for nearly half the price of a premium tire they are remarkable and will defiantly be buying again providing they reach past 17000 mile test!!

Given 97% while driving a Vauxhall Vectra (215/55 R16) on mostly country roads for 3,000 average miles

First none main brand tires I have ever bought and I'm impressed when I got the car it had Bridgestone on front and some marangoni on rear. The car was noisy, hard on bumps and the back would step out quite easily if pushed in the dry and in the wet had to take it really easy. Now its quiet, comfy and a I have lot more confidence to corner faster in the dry or wet, as the feed back is good and can feel the limits and when it gets to the limit breakaway is nice and progressive. The car feels more like my astra than the big tank it is and I have no worries chucking it into bends. The only slight down side is 2-3 mpg less but this could be down to the new tires having thicker tread so more internal friction. Have got mpg back by putting 2psi more in each tire at the cost of slightly harder ride. Wear rate seems good at the moment.

Given 100% while driving a Ford Focus (205/50 R17) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
I've given the 100% rating due to the premium branded tires these have replaced and the way they outperform them. My wife's 2008 focus came with Goodyear NCT5's, noisy from day one and wet performance not the greatest considering it is only a 1.8 with 125bhp.

I did quite a bit of research and almost bought falkens until I saw the price of these. £261 for 4, Bargain :). Found out the Saab lads love these and they were also mentioned on some Vauxhall forums with great reviews.

I also found out they are made in Indonesia by Yokohama. They look good, have a flange for rim protection (which the Goodyears never had), they are XL and ZR rated with Traction AA and Temperature A.

Greatest improvements in order - Road Noise, Wet Grip, Dry Grip, and the best thing is they look great, sidewall and asymmetric tire pattern.

I myself have and love jap performance cars and I'd never go budget on tires, but the Neuton NT8000 to me is a Premium Tire at a Budget Price :) .... even my wife said the steering felt tighter :) Hope this helps !!!

Given 100% while driving a Saab Automobile 93 Vector Sport 150 Tdi Saloon (225/45 R18 V) on mostly motorways for 20,000 average miles
I read the prevoius feedback on other models of tire, As i was skint i took a gamble on these and honestally can say im glad i did as i was WOWed. Thease tires changed the handling on my car, it seems when i wanted to turn the steering felt so responsive and more free. Driveing doing a ton down motorways in the sleet and rain and they was no aquaplaining at all.

Given 100% while driving a Saab Automobile 9 3 Aero 2.8T V6 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 2,500 spirited miles
Fantastic tire, quite on the motorway, excellent grip in both dry and wet. Would certainly buy another set when the time comes. Brilliant value for money considering the level of performance!
