Nokian Line Reviews - Page 5

Given 100% while driving a Renault Clio RS200 (205/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 12,440 spirited miles
THE best tire for my Renault Clio RS. Haven't found a single environment where it is anything less than tremendous, wet or dry, cold or hot.

Absolutely fantastic everywhere - can't urge anyone enough to go for these, I'm sure I will!

Given 100% while driving a Ford Fiesta mk7 (185/60 R14 H) on mostly country roads for 17 average miles
Absolutely fantastic tires, my wife's Fiesta is a proper joy to drive on those Nokian Lines. Every road and environment seems to be handled remarkably well by those things (haven't tried them on ice though), even on 185/60/14 (82H) dimension, would definitely buy them again no question! Have clocked 17,520 miles and they still perform the same as new - I am indeed impressed, since they also have even wear - 3.5mm left both front and rear.

Massive thanks to everyone who recommended these tires.

Given 100% while driving a Alfa Romeo (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 14 spirited miles
Alfa Romeo GTV 3.2 V6, 2005 year model. The tires have transformed my Alfa from a great handling car into a proper beast, attacking corners on practically any road surface has never been easier, remember we're talking about a heavy 250 hp front wheel drive car, they excel in everything - from grip (dry & wet) to comfort (almost no noise in the cockpit!) and they have worn quite well for my driving style - aggressive 85% of the time. Fronts are at 2.5mm and rears at 3mm, the wheels are aligned to perfection though, it is quite important to the wear rate of the tires.

Definitely recommended, I would surely go for those again in a heartbeat.

Given 100% while driving a Alfa Romeo 145 Cloverleaf (QV) (195/55 R15 H) on a combination of roads for 11,300 spirited miles
Absolutely FAULTLESS tires, would never ever think about buying anything else - top grip dry or wet, comfort is exceptional (Yellow Bilstein absorbers, hard setup), very good rolling resistance, minimal cabin noise, precise feedback, minimal wear (4.5mm still after 11,300 miles) everything is there.

Tremendous.

Given 99% while driving a Mercedes Benz (225/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 5,000 average miles
I've bought Nokian tires for a few years now and have previously had the Nokian z-lines & ZG2s on my Mercedes SLK and these Nokian Lines are every bit as good as those in wet or dry but are much, much quieter, smoother and cheaper. The grip is fantastic and so far the wear rate is excellent.

I will definitely buy these again.

Given 100% while driving a Fiat Stilo (205/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 1,000 spirited miles
These are the best summer tires I've ever driven on. Be it rain or shine, cornering hard or just cruising, I've always felt safe and smooth. No squeals, no matter how much I abused them, driving at 130 km/h in pouring rain and attacking hairpins to the point of almost tipping over. Regarding the comfort - the only noise you hear is the engine's ,whether you're driving on asphalt or gravel. So far this "summer" season has been very wet and chilly (quite often 0 Celsius), so I was a bit nervous at first. Now I can't wait for the winter to come, so I can buy a set of Nokian winter tires!

Nokian Z line..excellent price/quality balance, i have only done 5.000 km on them, too soon to see any tire wear and too soon to say how well they handle. after the first 2.000 km's they started handleing the road even better. They did from day one but even better after the first 2.000 on dry road and amazing on wet. Actually amazing on both dry and wet. They seem to have no sign of wearing even if 5.000 is to soon..in th past i dont remember what tires i had but already at 3.000 km they showed sign of consumed places on the side of the wall. Nokian are looking as new, and trust me i drive a lot and take curves like if there is no tmrw..!! :-) i get enough feedback from the tires, they are precise and feel light, only thing they also feel a bit..just a bit hard when taking a hole or small road bumps but that is i guess the fact that i have a 40 profile so the drive is more sporty and seems bit hard. (also racing schoks) i am sure with 45 or 50 would be as confortable as my pirelli sottozero 3 for winter with special ruber..those tires are so soft even with a 40 profile and handle like crazy. The rubber is different nokian zline is a summer tire so harder rubber. Noise-wise the Nokian Zline, i must say they are simply great. no noise at all. As i said confort-wise i have low profile but again nothing to complain because they are very confortable and do their job perfectly.Very good progressiveness, to the limit, i am happy i must say. If i would buy them again? Yes...i would, i am actually advising all my friends to do so and i should also advise to put them among the premium tires in the tires review list because i find them better then most premium tires i have had in the past with the same car...including Michelin, Continental, bridgestone..all this are great tires different in what they deliver but great ones, i find the nokian to have a bit of every needed touch. I drive BMW E90 05 now with 207.700 KM's and still looking and driving as new.
