P Zero's original fit- absolutely shocking wear managed a few more miles thatn the chap above- 12,500 before needing replacements on the front. Rears faired better covered 41,000 on those. Fronts have been replaced by Bridgestone RE050a's which are better all round- save your money!

As an advanced driver I am not heavy footed and only use my brakes where absolutely necessary.
I had been told that I would be lucky to get 9-10,000 miles out of the tires in an Audi A3 1.9TDI, but having bought the car at six months old and only 1,800 miles on the clock I have now reached nearly 16,000 and could probably get another 1,000 or so more if I took them down to the 1.6 mm legal depth, they are at present measuring approximately on average 2-4 mm.
I have found no problems with grip in either dry or wet conditions, no more road noise than any other tire I have ever had on other cars. Maybe the other reviewers that have had problems with cornering grip are either driving too hard for the conditions, or are breaking and cornering at the same time, even racing drivers loose it in these conditions, just closely watch a grand prix.
So all in all these tires have served me well and I am having two more fitted to the front and will be watching how many miles I get out of the rear ones.

No complaints with these as the standard VW fitment, but have yet to try anything else. Pretty amazing grip on dry roads and not had any issues in the wet either.
I was still using them in the snow, and the grip was incredible considering the conditions (fairly steep hills in 6 inches of fresh snow proved no problem). Fronts need changing now after about 23,000 miles.

The tire is just on the legal limit now after 9,500 miles of hard driving. The car is a DMS stage2 997.1 Turbo running around 600bhp so feel the tires have coped well. Great feedback from the road in the wet and dry although I am no tire expert. Felt as good, if not better than the recommended ContiSportContacts that were on there when I purchased the car so good value for money as they worked out about £120 cheaper for the rear set when purchased Sept10.

Good grip wet and dry. Commuting in 996 C4S.
Wear is dreadful, lasted 3000 miles on rears, fronts ok.
Will not fit again on car.

Brilliant in the dry, shocking in everything else. Wear rate not great either.

Very disappointed in the the wear rate of these tires, barely 10K on the front and had to replace them as worn to the limit. Clearly not an economical choice for the Mondeo. Only real plus side was that the grip in the winter snow was better than expected.

P zero rosso are almost the worst tires i've fitted to any of my cars past and present.
this is the second pair thats been fitted onto my wifes C30 in 2 years.

The wear rate is shocking, approx 12k and they're done.
The grip on wet and damp roads is pathetic. especially for a tire that costs almost 200 quid.

The grip in the dry isn't too bad. As for grip on snow and ice,they're utterly useless.

Fortunatly there is now more choice in the 215/45/18 size in terms of brands and cost.

Not a bad tires as it started off as the factory fitted option, however the fronts have quickly degraded and now require replacing after 8000 miles.

The wet grip on this particular tire I have found to be iffy at best, and prone to aquaplaning, and in the snow and ice the grip was non existant, I believe it was more the weight over the front wheels which helped here other than the tire.

Now changing back to the Audi recommended tire (so why don't they fit it as standard!), a pair of Continental Sport Contract 3's which I trust especially when having the family in the car.

Bought the car brand new in November 2010 - dealer fitted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. I DON'T LIKE THESE AT ALL!! Whatever happened to Audi fitting Continental Sport Contact 2s as standard? They knock this rubbish into a cocked hat. They are noisy, feel every minor road bump/pothole etc, and you are constantly worried that they are going to lose it on a bend. Even with the quattro. In the recent snow and ice I have decided to walk everywhere until I get some decent all weather or snow tires sorted.

Very good grip in the dry and surprisingly good on ice and snow. Managed to deal with the recent heavy snow up to about 6" very well (other vehicles were getting stuck). A lot of road noise and the mileage varies - fronts - barely 20000 miles - rears - 37000miles.

Good tire all around. One of the best choises for performance cars driven aggressively in day to day use.
