Very poor build quality. Ordered one which upon fitting onto alloy turned out to have nice bulges. This was returned and a subsequent tire provided. The new one appeared to be ok at first. Few hundred miles later it was mot time and to my surprise the tester informs me that one tire needs changing badly. Surprise surprise it was the Sunew. There were massive bulges all over the inside edge of the tire. Luckily the car is used on rare occasions locally, as i pressume if it were to be taken on a long drive it could easily have burst!
Never buy this cheap stuff again.

These were brand new on my Alfa GTV V6 when I got it. They have never inspired confidence in the dry. Because it's only a second car I will not use it in the wet,I just don't feel they could take any more loss of performance. The front end feels very vague and maybe unrelated but the car weaves badly under hard acceleration. Although hardly worn I intend to get them off the car as soon as funds allow.

Had a set of these on my car for i wk and 350 miles they let go at 60 mph on a wet road with no warning ,i went off the road and wrote my car off DONT BUY THESE TYRES THEY WILL BE THE DEAREST TYRES YOU WILL EVER BUY.

DEFINITELY NOT GOOD TYRES AT ALL.VERY BAD ON WET AVERAGE ON DRY.HAD THEM ON MY PASSAT B5FL NOW JUST FITTED FALKEN FK 452 AND THEY ARE SO MUCH BETTER.SO IF YOU CONSIDER BUYING CHEAP TYRES PLS DONT BUY SUNEW!!!!!!!!

Don't get them. Nearly lost control of my car twice today when it rained going round a roundabout. Road noise is quiet high. Got them with a set of 18" alloys but didn't think the would be so bad. They are ok on dry roads.

Message to self: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY THESE TYRES AGAIN NO MATTER HOW SKINT! Dreadful, simply dreadful.

These tires are DANGEROUS!! I had them fitted to my Subaru Impreza WRX because I was skint and asked for the cheapest tires they had. Big mistake. In the dry they're ok, they grip reasonably well but don't give a particularly good feel. The car just feels a bit strange, kid of like an arcade game feel, if that makes sense? But in the wet they are simply lethal. They break away on roundabouts at under 30mph, and at higher speeds they are simply frightening. You have to tip-toe around in the wet as if driving on slicks, they are that bad. You can't push the car at all as it just feels like it's going to go, big time. I've had several sideways moments with these tires, all at relatively low speeds. Just awful, dangerous tires. If you value your life, and your passengers lives, DO NOT BUY THESE TYRES!! Don't just ask for the cheapest tires, as you might get these piles of sh*t! I recommend Nankangs or Kumho's if you want budgets, they cost a little bit more, but they're so much better.

These tires are great in the dry , i have four on an e36 compact , but jeez in the wet they are dangerous , i'm quite a confident driver but these have had me nearly spin out on exiting roundabouts , entering slip lanes to motorway , maybe on 4x4 or front wheel drive they may perform different ... but on a rear wheel drive car in the wet , u seriously have to drive with extreme caution !!! scary !

These tires are so bad in the wet - I actually thought my brakes had failed (even with plenty of tread!) Try a corner in the wet and you are almost guaranteed to go straight on... These are downright dangerous and there should be a law against people making a tire this bad! Even in damp conditions my car lives on its traction control. Do not buy if you want to live...

I had these on the rear of a vectra 1.8 SRI. In the wet on roundabouts they were hopeless, giving virtually no grip. Then when I went for the MOT, the I side wall of the tire had cracks in it! It failed the MOT on that. I would not buy these again they are not safe!

Absolutley great in dry weather but catagorically dangerous in the wet! - I've just had a near death experience in the wet and I KNOW its down to these tires.
Ironically on the first day I bought the car the wheels locked and slid, causing the back end to tail-fin. Driving back I couldnt help wonder if the dealership had put the wrong tires on or even slicks. This evening I was travelling a little in excess of the speed limit (come on, we all do it,) 50 in a 30 and the car did exactly as above except this time I was merging into a dual carrigeway and once again it finned and smacked into the barrier. When I tentativly got out to assess the damage it was mere cosmetics but the 18's took the force of the impact. - Look, I dont profess to be a boy racer and nor do I condone such, but if your anything like me and you love your car and its capabilities but more importantly, you value your life, then Stay-Away-From-These-Tires! - Dangerous
