Given 34% while driving a Honda (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
Thought front wheel bearings were on the way out. Very noisy indeed, especially on over run. Abs frequently kicked in on wet roads. Changed to goodyear and it's a different car.

Given 32% while driving a Porsche 997 911 (235/35 R19) on a combination of roads for 150 spirited miles
I wanted to try these budget tires to see how ''challenging'' they could be. I fitted them on my Porsche 997 Carrera S. The rears were Bridgestone RE050s. I really walked into this experiment with a positive head regardless of the negative comments I had read. I am a skilled race car driver in several skills so I welcomed any possible challenge. I basically thought to myself: 'How bad can they be? I'll make them go!' Just like medium performing racing tires or rally tires in my racing career in the past..
Ok, honestly for cruising around town they are very much ok, if you are a non demanding driver they roll fine. Even initial grip levels say on a roundabout they seem to be ok. Once you start though to push abovethe limit they tend to massively understeer and dont want to come back. Also the feedback is minimal to the point it could be dangerous for the everyday driver if he decides to step out of the tire's 'comfort' zone. The steering wheel feels very light and I guess resistance must be minimal. I wanted to make myself stay with them but the 997s is too restrained and its handling characteristics are majorly spoiled. I have ordered another set of front tires previously unknown to me the Kumhos KU39 and I am eager to test them and write a review within 2-3 weeks :)

Given 13% while driving a Subaru Legacy 2.5GT (215/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 10,000 spirited miles
These tires are terrible. I bought them with the car about 10,000 miles ago. I knew the tires were junk, so I put up with them. I chalked most of the noise up to the AWD. It wasn't until I had them replaced today that I realized they were robbing me of much of my cars potential. They're dangerous on anything but dry pavement. I couldn't imagine driving a 2WD car with these tires. If there was any water on the ground anything above half throttle on my modest turbo Subaru would result in any one tire deciding to just break traction. I even have the rear LSD. Doesn't matter. These tires are like having PVC pipes for tires, and aren't worth the money to have them installed on any car you aren't planning on destroying in some violent or epic fashion.

Given 31% while driving a BMW 330d M Sport (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 4,000 easy going miles
Same comment I left for the Wanli S1088.....avoid on a RWD drive......atrocious in the wet, ok in the dry.......gives way with no warning and is plain dangerous but then I suppose at a third of the price of a tire that performs, would have to be really.......can't believe this and the Wanli are legal......I am sure there are other budget/economy tires out there with the same levels of grip which worries me greatly.

Given 37% while driving a Lexus GS300 (225/50 R17) on mostly motorways for 4,300 average miles
Was very excited to purchase such a good looking tire for low price. Had them installed and immediately returned to tire shop because I thought they had not balanced tires properly. Not the case. The vibration and road noise created by these tires is unacceptable in my opinion. Wet conditions require caution like I am driving on ice. No lateral grip whatsoever. Will replace as soon as possible. Terrible tires.

Given 10% while driving a Lexus GS430 (225/55 R17 V) on mostly motorways for 1,000 average miles
worst tires I ever had, front bearings gone, very noisy, no grip in wet, waste of money , had to replaced them just after 1000 miles, never again

Given 36% while driving a BMW 525D (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 17,000 average miles
The noisiest tires I have ever driven on. Reminds me of the drone of Land Rover on cross ply 4WD treads. Wet grip is poor - be careful especially in rear wheel drive. Dry grip is better but they do not inspire confidence, I never push them. Wear at the moment is reasonable at about 17000 miles and about 3mm left.
I would not buy again.
