these tires ,if you can call them tires have cost me a small fortune. after having 4 of these fitted 3 months ago ,the car started making a loud whining noise from rear. was told wheel bearings had gone so had them replaced. noise continued. then told rear axle was bent ,but car was not dangerous so put up with noise. after another month or so, same noise from front appeared. had n/s front wheel bearing replaced. noise and vibration got worse. went to another garage to be told it was these tires. in his words, the worsed tire he had ever come across for lack of grip, loud noise and vibration. we replaced all 4 and it is like having a new car. my advice is to stay away from the word sunny unless it is followed by the word day.

writing this NOT having read any other review so its unbiased. These tires are ok in the dry, although abs kicks in fairly easily when braking for speedbumps for example. But they are dreadful in the cold, wet or slippery conditions of winter. They seriously lack grip - slide in any corner, out of roundabouts etc unless you drive like my granny. Good fun in a 'practice' type way if you're up for it, but overall don't buy these through choice.

Only fitted cos they came with my new wheels, but I would never have them again and would pay more for better tires to be honest.

Looking at other responses about the noise Im relieved! Road noise is terrible!! I have a all wheel drive and thought the transfer case was gone. Bought the car with these on and it was fine! After driving for 1000+ these tires are terrible and loud. What a way to ruin a "new " car for me!! Driving long distances here in the states! (Ex pat) some road surfaces do make a noise add that to the tire noise and it gets uncomfortable! I want these off asap and use them as tire swings for the kids!!

Bought the car off a friend who put 4 of these on because they were cheap and he was selling the car. They are leathal in the wet lost the back end afew times on roads i no well and even going around roundabouts at slow speeds the back end was twitchy. Traction control always comming on pulling away in the wet at junctions.(doesnt happen now got bridgestones on).

purchased these tires about a month ago to replace general altimax 227/55/17, previously i had always paid an extortionate price for my tires, until i discovered sunny tires, i am very impressed indeed.. i have not noticed any road noise what so ever and corners extremely well in wet and dry conditions. they are excellent value for money and i will definitely buy these again...

Do not bye these tires if you have a high power rear wheel drive car no grip in the wet also very noisy

dangerous thought i'd buy cheap and a massive mistake. a silverstone trackday hasn't helped either almost crashed first corner no grip at speed. Lucky track was where i killed them never again

These tires were fitted new to a Mondeo bought from a dealer. On collecting the car I noticed a lot of a whining kind of noise, almost as those the bearings were faulty. That noise wasn't there when I had the test drive on the old tires! Was told they would bed in, but with no success. I suppose I will have to change them now, can't stand the noise any more! Otherwise the grip for my kind of driving is acceptable.

These tires should not be available to buy, recentley bought a new merc, rear wheel drive with 25obhp diesel power, the last owner had put these so called tires on the back end where all the power goes !! Just ok in the dry, but in the wet absolutley terrifying, the traction contol is working overtime to keep the car on the road, i do not drive it fast as have young family in the back of the car, these tires have been on car for 4 weeks and they will be replaced by the weekend, be warned never skimp on tires as you will get what you pay for !!

Truely terrible tires. The dry grip is not too bad but the wet grip is appalling, breaking traction at ludicrously slow speeds and simply not regaining it at all. They were extremely unpredictable in the wet as well, reaching the limit without any warning. I have not used the tires quite long enough to comment on the wear rate, and wouldnt really want to anyway, considering how they have performed. Although the tires seem relatively comfortable and absorb the bumps and holes nicely, they do make quite a bit of noise on the motorway at any speed and can be very intrusive over a long distance. I would not buy these tires again and would instead go for a slightly more expensive - and safe - option.

I had 3 of these budget tires fitted 8 months ago and barely used the car (to the station and back) and had to have them re-balanced 3 times in total! Every single time they were out of balance and needed more weight added, in the end one wheel topped 130g extra weight (any tire place will tell you this is extreme!). In the end I changed the two front ones due to vibration and noise for Event WL905 tires and instantly the vibration problem has gone. The tire shop said that Sunny tires are bad tires and mine were bad tires to start with when I bought them.

Advice - I would avoid these tires at all costs. Spend a couple of pounds more and get Event or premium quality tires.

Bought these tires then read reviews! Have now driven in dry and wet conditions and tires are great, very little road noise at any speed and car feels much smoother
