All four tires fitted in April 2012, usual BMW staggered setup 225/40 (front) and 255/35 (rear). I change to a winter setup in late November so cannot comment on snow & cold weather performance.
I really wanted to replace the nasty OEM runflats with the Goodyear F1A2 but these were like hens teeth back in April. Indeed all the premium brands seemed to be in short supply in the required sizes so I had dip into the mid range.
Anyway, a few of my thoughts on this tire:
Dry - adequate grip and braking performance, probably far more than you'll ever need on the public roads unless you drive like a complete loon.
Wet - good wet grip, wet braking doesn't feel particularly spectacular. When it's really wet they deliver very strong aquaplaning performance and do give you a lot of confidence when the heavens open.
Handling - nice stiff sidewalls so good steering response, feedback is ok.
Others - very quiet although noise levels increased after around 5k. Reasonable ride comfort & wear for a high performance summer tire.
Overall it's pretty much what you'd expect from a mid range tire, it performs adequately in most areas while being strong in a couple (aquaplaning & noise). This model has been around for a few years now and is perhaps starting to show it's age so if you're expecting it match the all round capabilities of the latest offerings from Goodyear, Continental etc then you're likely to be underwhelmed.
Having said that it's still a solid mid range choice and good value for money if you shop around.
