Alfa Romeo 156 GTA Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Hankook Ventus Prime 4 given 90% (215-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 spirited miles
The best summer tire I drove was the Continental premium contact. And I wanted to try something different, and I need to say that I didn't regret, hankook ventus prime 4 is very good replacement. I am more than satisfied, and I would recommend that tire.
Thanks

I was initially weary of internet reviews and claims about these tires - Almost concluded that they surly are over rated condiering the price of them. However due to unavailability of my first choice I proceeded to fit RE002s all round to a 2002 Alfa Romeo 156 V6. I came from Goodyear Eagle GSD3s and I would have to compare the gri and cornering as similar. Comfor is good even steeping up from 16 to 17". Road noise is minimal too.

Driving on a combination of roads for 3000 average miles
Outstanding grip on wet and dry roads. Good feedback. BUT....shockingly quick wearing on my FWD 156 GTA. Getting close to the wire after only 3000 miles of mostly average driving. Rears still have plenty of tread. In summary, fantastic grip but if you have a fairly powerful FWD car I would give these a wide berth - unless you don't mind forking out for a new pair every few thousand miles.

Superb tires and great value for money. I keep coming back to them over and over again. I've used them on an Alfa Romeo 156 GTA and a 156 GTA Sportwagon with fabulous results. I've also used them on a Ferrari 308 GT4 on racing circuits. Excellent all round tires.
