Audi A3 2.0T quattro Tire Review Highlights

I purchased a used audi a3 and the dealership sold me the car with these installed brand new... and let me tell you they are among the worst I've ever had in any vehicle. They advertise 60,000 km treadlife but after 22k I've driven on these, they are down to 1mm and I have to replace after just 8 month. Save yourself the hassle and get a decent tire for $50 a tire more. The value and wear life alone will make up for it

Amazing tires, quite simply the best I've ever had. Absolute grip in the dry... But its the wet which amazes me more because this tire treats the wet like its dry!!

very performing tire in the first months of life up to 15000km after it becomes very slippery hard both on dry and not to mention the wet highly not recommended in my opinion, I was a dunlop enthusiast most likely I will move to goodyear

We have these on the family Audi A3 quattro (250bhp) and we run all seasons to save changing over. We had a big bill, so went for some cheaper tires, I looked carefully at the reviews, and could find no bad ones... we have had a mostly wet winter here in the UK this time round (so far!) and in the rain and floods, this tire is outstanding. It simply grips, little to no aquaplaning, and gives total confidence in the wet. In the dry it is good, haven't run it in any temps above about 10C yet, so remains to see what a hot summer day will do to it, but so far its good. Been out on a very icy day in it (ice rain) , and driven on actual ice... was very little grip, but unless you have Nordic winters or studs, you wont have any! they were very predictable, and I actually had some fun in the Quattro! had very little snow, but driven through several inches of hail settled on the road, and they were VERY impressive, again very predictable too.. to sum up, very good for the average British winter! if they hold up well in the summer too , I will be very happy. a fraction of the cost of the cross climate I was looking at , and the bridgestone equivalent. I did want to try the Maxxis AP 3 (the new one, looks like the cross climate and has done well in tests) but couldn't get them. I have found maxxis to be great mid range tires before. To be honest i really would recommend the 4 seasons for those on a budget, they have performed MUCH better than expected, and are rain masters!

Tires were on the winter alloys for the car I bought, I've had them for 2 winters and will be keeping them on until they dry out for sure. The tires are amazing on snow, on ice not so much luckily I have Quattro as they do slip if pushed too much on ice. On snow however they feel at home with plenty of grip. Road noise is more than acceptable and they seem to wear ok from what I can tell.

Have to say that having had Potenza s001s before I was looking forward to driving on the RE002s.
They're great in the dry in both acceleration and cornering grip. Plenty of confidence when on the brakes.
Unfortunatly, it rained and the tires turned into Mr.Hyde.
Still ok on accleration, but the quattro drive train helps alot with that. Put it into the corners on the wet and forget it. Anything spirited and the tires just give up. Michilin Primacy 3s offer far more grip in the wet in comparison.
A track/dry road tire only.
