I put 4 davanti protoura sport in my bmw 530d im very disappointed after 500km in 110kmh steering start to vibrate and after 130kmh the whole car is shaking! I balanced them in 4 different tires shop but there was no difference.

Had these on my 530d for about 3 years covering 15k+ Very comfortable ride, excellent dry grip, noise levels are acceptable - but most importantly the wet grip is second to none. My car is far from the fastest or toque-iest, but well known for being Spirited in the rear! Holds very well to the ground, and I always get comments about how well my car handles, taking corners pretty hard even in the wet. I've only lost the rear end once (not on purpose), but I'm 99% sure there was oil on the tarmac :-). I've had Premium Contact's and Potenza's on the car and honestly they are nothing in comparison. Just ordered a new set of the Asy 5's, judging by the reviews should be the same, will be reviewing after a few k/miles. Was tempted by the PS4's or the Hankook S3, but couldn't make the decision to come away from the F1's

An absolutely brilliant tire. The side wall protector is great which I didn’t realise it had until they were fitted. The wear is very even, which for a BMW, is high praise indeed. The value for money was what swayed it over other brands too. I also like the tread pattern. I highly recommend it you want an all round great everyday road tire

Had them at the front in a E39 5 series and dry handling was reasonable but they always had that slight loss of grip for a fraction and then the grip came. However this behavior ruined the driving experience.

In wet they progressively lose grip. At this range of tires i'd expect better.

Wear they are pretty weak. The front of a E39 is heavy and the shape of the tire isn't flat if you look at them in line with you. Since they have less rubber on the sides, combined with the heavy front, the rubber on the sided went pretty quickly even though i checked the tire pressure every other week.

With all this said, i'll neved buy this model again. Primacy HP are much better overall and they supposedly are inferior.

Writing about the Barum Bravuris 2 given 73% (255-40-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 6000 spirited miles
These were fitted to the car when i bought it, i'd never heard of them before and was going to replace them ASAP with a brand i knew and trusted, for instance, Goodyear's or Michelin's.
but first i wanted to run the car for a few thousand miles to be sure it wasn't going to be a money pit!!
thankfully the car proved to be sound and reliable as where the Barum's! i would describe my driving style as "not one for hanging about" but on the other hand no Lewis Hamilton either!
i found that the Barum's suited the car well in all weather, comfy and quiet(for a performance saloon) and gave me confidence on all kinds of roads, so much so i decided to leave them on the car, the rears are down to 3mm now (which is the time i normally look to changing my tires)but the fronts are still on 6mm! being a heavy rear wheel drive car i'd expect the rears to wear faster than the fronts, but don't no if all four tires were replaced at the same time by the previous owner so cannot say if the rears are wearing much faster than the fronts!
i've found that you can "push" these Barum's on all road conditions with good feed back, they give you plenty of notice before they let go which gives you time to react! i don't usually push my car that hard, but i like to remind myself of mine and the car's capability's every now and then !
to replace the rear's with Barum's again will cost £84 each as opposed to £135 each for the Goodyear's!
I will not skimp on tires or brakes, but on this occasion i see no reason to spend over the odds for a name!!
to sum up, in my opinion, UNLESS your a real speed freak who likes to drive there car to it's limit's everywhere in all conditions! then these Barum's would be a sound choice!
