BMW BMW 435d X drive M Sport Tire Review Highlights

Driving on mostly motorways for 13000 easy going miles
These lasted 13,000 miles on my BMW 435d X drive on the front - changed at 1.9mm. Dry grip was decent. Wet grip okay but wet braking was terrible. As they wore out the grip declined. Making an emergency brake when it was down to 3mm felt a bit dangerous. Comfort was okay and road feedback good. A progressive tire and decent handling. The wear rate was shocking though - especially in summer months! The more they wore the worse they became. I wouldn’t buy these again due to wear and lack of wet braking ability. Fuel economy was also poor. These are summer tires though so forget about trying to use them in ice/snow. Most definitely not for any winter conditions - you need winter tires for that if you are the type of person who leaves summer tires on in the winter! For the same price bracket you can do way better! For example, the Goodyear RFT.
