Citroën C6 Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Hankook Ventus Prime 4 given 90% (245-45-18-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 200 spirited miles
Had a mixed set of brands I'd not heard of before on the car when I bought it, not sure why some people will have nice cars and ruin it by putting noisy Ditchfinders on but anyway.

I'd done extensive research before committing to buy tires as I normally do and I had narrowed it down to either these Hankooks or some Goodyear EF1 AS6s which are also an extremely good tire. The Hankooks ended up winning in the end based on price, as there was really very little to choose from between the two when it came to test results, characteristics and reviews. Four of the Hankooks were just over £500 for my size.

There was significant improvement on noise immediately with the new tires which was expected but very reassuring too. I put these tires through their paces when I got them and it was dry, and conveniently followed a period of rain which allowed some testing in the wet too. Dry handling is exceptional, I think you would probably stand more chance of turning the car on to its roof doing a Scandinavian flick than losing grip or understeering with these, they really do stick.

Wet handling is also very good, with a considerable improvement over my old tires which had a tendency to aquaplane at the first sign of any standing water. Cornering can be completed with confidence with no understeer, even in a front heavy FWD car like mine.

As mentioned previously, cannot fault the noise level with these, and personally I think they are quieter than the Goodyears that I was also considering. Would definitely recommend.

Writing about the Landsail DH2 given 22% (245-45-18-)
Driving on mostly motorways for 6000 easy going miles
The Delinite DH2 came on a car which I bought second hand and when I first saw them I was suspicious so looked at some reviews. I wish I had changed them straightaway because these tires cost me the car in an emergency braking situation. The Delinite DH2 is a noisy and uncomfortable tire, with very poor fuel efficiency rating and if I wasnt an experienced driver of 25+ years these could have cost my life a few times in the wet. Please please please DO NOT BUY even if you are tight for cash. Anything else is better, Avon, Falken, Dunlop, Good Year. Anything. If this brand is fitted to your current vehicle CHANGE as soon as possible and I mean today.

Writing about the Membat Passion given 85% (225-55-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 25000 easy going miles
I was amazed with this tires. It was my first time to buy them and for sure I am gonna buy them again.

POSITIVE:
- Perfect dry grip during high speed cornering, even with low thread left;
- Good grip on wet conditions when the tires are new (the fist 5000 miles)
- Comfortable, great stopping distance feedback nice understeer.

NEGATIVE:
- Grip degrades on wet conditions on low wear compared to other tires.
- Sometimes too much road feel when cornering (not quiet)

Great price and great response. I will buy them again.
