Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 spirited miles
I’ve switched to PS4 from the stock Michelin Pilot Supersports and it’s a huge improvement. The dry grip is limitless, wet grip is as good as it can be. Moreover, it made the Fiesta a much better car overall - ride is now way smoother, I’m not anymore afraid of driving on cobblestone and over bumps. On the negative side perhaps it’s a little less darty now, the sidewall is softer so it lost a little subjective responsiveness, but in the case of Fiesta it’s not necessarily a bad thing: the car feels much more grown up now, however still playful. In terms of wear, after 5.5k km of mixed driving (50% motorway / 50% spirited b-roads) the front tires lost around 1.4mm from the initial 6.7mm. Considering you should change tires at around 3mm, a simple extrapolation tells me they should last around 15k km of spirited driving, maybe 20k if rotated front to back. Overall acceptable wear for me. Factor in the additional safety and I say it’s money well spent. Highly recommend for a smaller sporty cars like Fiesta, Mini, MX-5. However, for a heavier car like a Golf GTI I’d look for something more aggressive like PS4S or Eagle F1 Supersport for additional responsiveness.

Driving on mostly town for 100 easy going miles
I bought these tires a year ago already on steel rims and part used. They all had about 6mm of thread on them. But I only got around to fitting them today. I've fitted the tires to my mother's car - a 1998 Ford Fiesta, so I'm not going to be able to give any real long term and in depth analysis of these tires, other than to tell you if my mother managed to get out of the car park of the local supermarket on a snowy day.

All I can say is I drove the car to the garage for it's MOT and also to get the summer tires changed with these and on the way home the ride was much nicer, a lot less bouncy then with the summer tires which were 4 different makes on each wheel. One thing to note that I've not seen pointed out on any review is these tires are designed to turn in only 1 direction, so the tread pattern is pretty good in that it's designed to provide good grip going forwards. I'd say the car drove much better on these tires, part of the reason for that will be having 4 tires all of the same make and model.

Right now it's the first week of December 2017 - they keep telling us this will be the coldest winter in 5+ years, so if it is then it will give use a good chance to test out these tires. All I can say right now is the tires seem fine and they drove a lot better than the previous mixed set of tires.

Driving on mostly country roads for 290 spirited miles
Had 3 of these on my car when I bought it last month (2 on the front, another on the rear passenger side).

So far they seem ok when the car is moving, but seem to have a tendency to break traction & spin-up unexpectedly when pulling out of junctions from stationery without hardly touching the throttle.... and this is with a Ford Fiesta that only has a 59bhp 1.3 Endura E lump under the bonnet.

Considering replacing with some Uniroyal RainExpert tires later on in the year.
