I have replace it with my previous premium brand for Honda accord. Very good in handling, breaking and grip. Also quiet on road. its more than I expected from a budget tire with low price. Recommended to test and buy.

Always brought Japanese rubber had a new car when I viewed it had yokos on picked it up they put nexen on was not to happy the sales guy assured me they were good tires maybe so but had new tires on wife's car yokos advan sport v105s and they were brill so bit the bullet put the same on my car oh what an improvement it's like a different car never had a car stick like this does now brilliant tires will always buy Yokohama best rubber what a tire thanks Yokohama fab

I drive a taxi so trying to find a good tire that will last on a budget is a priority for me.

Let me start by saying that this tire should not be compared to premium tires that are 3 times more expensive, however if you're on a budget and want a durable tire with decent levels of grip for the normal driver these are perfect.

They are good in the dry, acceptable in the wet and predictable at the limit.

My fronts are now ready for replacement after 15,500miles of mixed driving, usually with passengers in a heavy FWD diesel car which is the highest I've got out of a front set so far (first time using this brand of tire) the rears look completely unworn at 15,500 miles. Also to note, I have hit some very harsh potholes and these tires have always held their pressure.

After a lot of hunting online I managed to get a set of 4 new 225/45/18 fitted with wheel alignment from tire-shopper for £211! to me that is unheard of. If I was to go for a premium brand tire that would be closer to £650.

I am replacing these with Nexen N'fera SU1's and will review them in 4-5 months when they wear out.

As many other reviews have clearly stated: AVOID THESE TYRES IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIVES!! Whilst I appreciate a bargain as much as anyone, there are clearly limits to what is acceptable and what is not! Firstly I will be clear in saying that I did not choose these tires, they came as a deal sweetener with the purchase of a new car last year. Immediately I noticed they were significantly worse than the Goodyear/Michelin tires I had previously been running on. In the first 2 days I had to adjust to pulling away very slowly at junctions or they would wheelspin (even at incredibly low revs-I drive a diesel!). I also noticed how slippery they were on roundabouts, the kind of effect you would normally associate with fuel spilt on the road-kind of slippery..kiss goodbye to driving around them fast, any speed faster than 20mph would result in dangerous understeer. I would find myself very unnerved driving on & off roundabouts constantly whilst these tires were on the car! In the dry they were less than acceptable, but in the wet they were downright dangerous, unpredictable handling, awful stopping power-leading to increased stopping distances and having to leave bigger gaps between myself and the car in front (which people may argue is safer anyway). As I am tight I persevered and tried to make do with them for the duration, as I had been getting 20,000+ miles from previous tires; these barely lasted half that and to be honest I COULD NOT WAIT to have them removed!! I have gone back to paying the premium for Goodyear tires & am much relieved it has to be said, all back to normal with confidence behind the wheel once more. **Seriously, take heed; only purchase these tires if you do hardly any miles and are really hard up, otherwise just take what is arguably the most important aspect of your cars safety equipment seriously and pay the extra £10-15 per tire extra and have peace of mind!! You have been warned!**

I have just bought my 2nd set of Goodyear EfficientGrip performance tires after having previously owned on my prior vehicle (same car), in actual fact these tires were probably the reason I was not injured in an accident that resulted in the car being written off and I had to replace with my current! The stopping power in all but the worst road conditions is superb, considering that these are "Green economy" tires, you normally have to take a hit on the braking ability and handling grip, but these tires really do deliver the best of both in a healthy compromise.Better in the dry than wet (unsurprisingly), but equally confident in either condition. Others have commented on the side-wall distortion (rolling) effect of these tires, but I find that this ONLY occurs when accelerating/decelerating hard and turning at the same time (for example a roundabout@speed), but otherwise they are fine...let's not forget, performance around the Nurburging will unlikely be your principle reason for purchasing this model of tire.

Most of us will be buying for the economy, mileage & handling. Since fitting them (100 miles so far) my MPG has increased by 2MPG, which cannot be a co-incidence as previous tires ran a consistent 51.3 MPG over 14 months with a smooth and steady driving style-increased to 53.3 with GY-EG fitted. Obviously I have only just got these ones, but the previous ones I owned exceeded 17,500 miles and still had 4-5mm of tread on each tire before the car got scrapped-astonishing really...considering the "Landsail" tires they replaced barely lasted 11,000 miles before becoming illegal and an MOT fail! I have already commented on the handling; I do tire (hah!) of reading other people writing about how these tires lack response and "feel of the road". If you want that performance; buy a Conty or Pirelli which will clearly not last the distance the Goodyears will! All-in-all I am very happy with the purchase and consider them superior to Michelin Energy model that I owned prior to these on the original car. Whilst good on miles the performance in the wet was sorely lacking, which is gladly not the case with the Goodyears. Buy with confidence if economy, value and long lasting performance is what you're after.

Buy these tires for my 2009 Honda Accord DTEC in extent and are the worst 225/45/18 tires I have ever had in my life. I have been a professional driver and have tried many of them. The guidance is lousy and on several occasions has come to me quite jarring car under heavy braking. Water like a snake. The tires had recently manufactured date and excellent visual appearance but never again buy any. Suffice to say that previously sat on the same car with a Michelin four years and half measure 215/65/16 and use these gripped twice. I even thinking about brake problems because the car brakes half since, until that cai . was due to the tires

I've had Sessantas for the last 40k miles, but Vredestein have stopped making them in my size. I didn't want to drop down to a 40 profile so I thought I'd try these. I thought the Sessantas were good, well these are better, wet or dry. Excellent turn-in grip makes the car feel sharper with less understeer. Quieter, or is that just because they're new? either way, I'm pleased. Haven't had them long enough to judge wear though.

Brilliant tire. Excellent grip wet or dry and quiet too. Fitted a set of four and have just replaced the fronts at 17k (Spirited style + country roads + heavy FWD car doesn't make for long life). Have bought again.
