Driving on mostly town for 18000 spirited miles
I have one of these fitted to the rear of my Honda CB600 F8 Hornet since late summer, after high recommendation from my local garage (did they know i'd be back?).

I ride all year-round and already (November) find it to slip and slide in wet and cold weather conditions without too much persuasion (not the most confidence inspiring).

Having said that it's decent in the dry, leans very well, feels very smooth.

I previously had a Pilot Road 3 fitted which I now want back ideally before it gets much colder. It didn't have any of the above issues (ridden through minus temps), fantastic tires without drawback.

Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 spirited miles
Came as factory standard on a CBR600FB. As an all weather commuter in the UK I've been really disappointed with these tires.

I've not been thrown off yet (touch wood) as with some of the other reviews, but they have little to no feedback in any conditions, and are pretty slippery if there's any moisture on the roads. Braking distances are also abysmal in the wet. I've got no confidence in them and they're coming off ASAP.

When roads have been dry for a few days and the ambient temperature is 20+ degrees C, it's a totally different story, so I would probably consider these as a cheaper option for track day tires.

Finally, after ~1000 miles of mixed commuting/fun, they're already pretty badly worn... I'd probably only get another 2000 miles tops, although I do tend to ride pretty hard --- more careful riders will probably get 4000+. In short, not recommended; why they put these as stock on a sport tourer, I have no idea.

Driving on mostly town for 10 spirited miles
My Honda CB600F ABS Hornet came with Michelin Pilots as original fitment - I was never happy with these so junked them early for a pair of BT021's as they suited my previous Fazer 600 very well. I've been riding for 50 years and still ride every day racking up about 8K miles a year. I have NEVER had a set of tires so completely transform the feel of a bike (for the better). Not only was the feedback and grip massively improved, it felt like the suspension had had a major work-over. These were replaced in due course by the BT023 which improved things even more. They work as part of the suspension and comfort levels are increased as well as longevity. Grip and stability are faultless, wet or dry. Even on snow they have been the best tire I have used.
My latest bike is an Aprilia shiver SL750 GT and I will be choosing the BT023 again.
