Jaguar Jaguar XE Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Bridgestone Potenza Sport given 80% (255-35-19-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 7000 spirited miles
Great sports tires. Mounted on jaguar xe awd in the sizes: Front 225/40 r19y; Rear 255/35 r19y. Hard shoulders, therefore uncomfortable for tour guides, but steering as sharp as a blade. Slightly noisy. Seal of 10 and praise on dry and wet. Wear: I don't think I do more than 20/25 thousand km. Driving style: sporty. Recommended for driving pleasure and sporty driving, for touring speeds choose other tires.

Driving on mostly country roads for 5000 spirited miles
Purchased in sizes 225/40 r19y front and 255/35 r19y rear for Jaguar xe awd. Excellent on dry and wet, very good on fresh snow, on ice I don't know. They are silent and with a soft compound. They may not excel in one category, but they are very homogeneous and suitable for all weather conditions. Very stable at high speeds. Honestly I would buy them again.

Bought these tires on the strength of Autobild UHP winter tire test 2018. Had the chance to drive through snow , slush and ice on saturday here in Scotland . Last winter I had the misfortune to experience a few scary moments when my UHP summer tires lost traction where I skidded and slid all over the place in conditions not nearly severe as saturday past. These tires in one word are phenomenal . I never lost traction once , I felt so safe and confident throughout my whole journey.

My wife has a mini cooper with UHP winter tires , now on their second season. Her tires are good but not in the same class as the Wintrac pro , they have a sluggish steering response and mushy feel at temps above 10c. The Wintrac pro at 9c last week felt very planted on dry roads , I am really quite amazed at how they've managed to achieve this .

My experience with premium winter tires in the past have never been this good. All I can say is I'm so glad that these tires are tested to the limit by those who know how and we all learn so much before making an expensive mistake. If you review this and decide to buy you will Not be disappointed and before you ask , I'm not affiliated with Vredestein in any shape or form . Good luck with your choice .

First review was on 8th Sept 17 after 1000 miles . Now covered 5500 miles and still have 7mm tread left all round . Having ditched the EO Pirelli p7 at 5mm I can honestly say if you enjoy driving as much as I do this was a costly move that I don't regret
This tire continues to perform brilliantly for me , certainly in the low profile that I have in the Jag. To sum it up without going overboard the assy 3 continues to deliver great steering response , great comfort and quietness all in one , and on our shamefull UK roads it's certainly a bonus to have all these attributes in one tire. I am more than happy.
