Driving on a combination of roads for 400 average miles
After much research, and after reading many reviews, I decided to give these tires a chance. I must admit that, for the price, I am more than happy with them. They have good grip in dry conditions and I have driven on wet roads and they have performed well. I don't push the car too hard so I couldn't comment on how well they would perform under more strenuous driving.
I had Pirelli tires on previously and I haven't noticed a great deal of difference. Road noise is a little more noticeable but not so much as to make driving uncomfortable. Good tread pattern and positive handling. I cannot comment on wear as they have only been on the car for around 400 miles.
To be honest I would say that for a mid range tire, within a certain price range, they are very good.

Replaced the Goodyear Eagles and there are some notable differences. Firstly the grip in the wet isn't as good, the car feels a touch less connected to the road but not in a way that's alarming. There is definitely more tire noise on rough surfaces, not that its too intrusive but it's definitely there and isn't going away with use. Other than those couple of points, the Avon's are superb and complement the car well. The grip in the dry is excellent and they handle well in tight or twisty bends. Having used various tire brands in the past, I will be buying them again as they represent a fantastic balance between cost and performance. After so few miles the wear is negligible but they seem a harder compound than the Goodyear Eagles so I would expect them to last a touch longer. Overall, I'm very happy with the Avon ZV7 tire.

Driving on mostly motorways for 0 easy going miles
For years iv been using Barum Bravuris tires and have found them to bee a great tire with low road noise which for me is paramount. But iv recently put on the new Barum Bravuris 3XL and they are the noisiest tire iv ever heard, even the tire fitter at National Warrington said they there the noisiest he's ever heard. Wont be buying them again. I was informed the Bravuris 2 is no longer available.

Driving on mostly country roads for 5000 average miles
Purchased the tires for the winter months - for wife's car for carrying boy about in safely.
They have been performing very well - good grip in the wet and dry, run a little firmer than the the previous 17" - but overall a good tire.
Today the grip on ice and snow is incredible - as good as my 4x4 running all-terrain winter tires (general AT2's) - admit 2" of snow compacted to ice - but very slippy.
A GREAT TYRE THAT I HAVE TO RECOMMEND - I WILL BE BUYING AGAIN.

Fullrun HP199 must be the noisiest tires on the road. I have a X type jag and have changed 3 wheel bearings thinking it was them that were noise i could hear. In the wet well try not to go out. I have changed all the tires with 4mm still on thay are that bad can not trust them to get round corners.

Within weeks of these tires being fitted I noticed a whine which has got progressively louder. I took the car to my usual garage and they thought the bearings were going but couldn't tell which wheel. This went on for many weeks and then I thought it was worth seeing is there was any feedback regarding these tires and there was.there were 2 feedbacks saying they thought they had worn wheel bearings but the sound went when the tires were changed. Exactly what has happened with my car - have had 4 new Pirellis fitted and lo and behold the noise has gone - no problems with wheel bearings! If you do not mind listening to horrendous tire noise then these are the tires for you!! If not then do not buy them!!!!

Have had 4 fullrun tires fitted on my jaguar x type 2.0 and have done 6000 miles. Wear is not bad although am a bit worried abount the bits protruding from the seam!
My biggest annoyance is the tire noise!! grumbles at low speeds and then the noise gets higher, like a whine, as though the wheel bearings need replacing. Took the car to my usual service man and he thought it was bearings (he like me had not read the write ups - wish I had before I purchased!)but couldn't tell which wheel! Has moved the tires round but as there are 4 has made no difference!I am now convinced it is the tires - the car was very quiet with Pirellis previously.I shall be going back to Pirelli - you get what you pay for,buy cheap and you get rubbish.Never again!!
