Driving on mostly town for 4000 average miles
This tire is incredibly noisy on the open road. I measured the decibel level in the car at 70 mph and it was over 80. The first time I experienced it I thought that I had exhaust system problems so I took the car to the dealer to check it out to find that the noise was coming from the tires.

I am not sure about the size but I had 7100 miles on this tire and hit a pothole at 50mph and blew out the sidewall. I am worried about these tires now and will probably buy Michelons to be safe. These tires came with the car. I would never buy them for a car myself.

Writing about the Bridgestone Potenza RE040 given 34% (235-55-18-H)
Driving on mostly country roads for 15000 easy going miles
These tires gave very bad understeer which resulted in lack of confidence when cornering. T his then produced excesive wear on the shoulders and I would have expected at least another 8000kms before they needed replacing. now running on Kuhmo, what a difference.(Lexus RX 350)
