Thoughts on initial receipt of the tires in 255/35/18 94Y size. 7-7.2 tread, seemingly the norm these days, so effectively only 5.4mm usable tread vs. 6.4mm at 8mm new. VERY wide longitudinal grooves - leaving not much 'rubber on the road'/contact patch compared to the CSC5 s ive previously used. (Or much rubber to wear through at all) Despite the publication reviews showing the best wear on test at date, having used PS4s a while back, also with very wide grooves and 7mm tread, which did not last well at all for a Michelin, I'm sceptical of how well these will last. Full review to follow in the coming weeks once I've got the winter wheels off and ive managed to run them in.

Surprisingly shocked with these tires. I had OEM continental sport contacts on my car before and I feel these tires are on par, with slightly less road noise and more comfortable. I often drive in sport and occasionally in sport+ and the grip in dry weather is impressive. Incredible value for money and would buy for sure again if the prices don’t increase too much in the future.

Driving on a combination of roads for 8000 spirited miles
Normally always run continental contact sport 5, but they wear out extremely fast. So decided to go for the hp5 after reading its excellent reviews and ratings for the wet. I always enjoy driving hard in the rain where its safe to do so. (yes i may be a nutter) but i enjoy good grip and traction while doing so. These tires have mininal slide on full acceleration, can accelerate out of bends too without the car fishtailing but pushed hard enough there is good feedback from the tire before it wants to fully let go into a drift per say. Very similar to the tires i have ran before but abit more spongy when throwing the car around. But quality and grip for money, i have ran these tires down to almost the bead but if driven sensibly i would assume near double the millage that i have done. I will be replacing these tires with the same set they suit my driving stye and car very well and and cheap isnt the word compared to top tire manufacturers tires with almost the same drivability. If you are a spirited driver with a budget these are definitely the tires to go for

Had these on now for 6000+ miles and no issues, don't even look worn yet.

Would buy them again with out thinking about it.

I've had these for several months and now changing the rims from 18 to 19 and will buy these again. I have done some high speed driving, sharp high speed cornering, sharp braking, even some burnouts and they handled everything great. They are now half way down but considering my aggressive driving I'm not surprised. From what I see I could still go for one or even two moderate driving seasons. They are a bit slippery on wet but not too much, they still do a great job especially for this price.
